      Client applied for a home and they stated there was information on her report causing her to be denied. After several calls with their customer service department, they stated her application could be reopened if information was inaccurate. We sent in supporting documents and now the customer service department is not answering and changing their answers to please reapply. Customer service is now unresponsive.

      This is a terrible company, STAY AWAY!!We have been talking to them for over two weeks about rentals, and they are totally disorganized.We send them bank statements via email, and they ask for information again and again.We get computer generated links to upload documents and the links do not work.

      If I could give this company ZERO stars, it would be more than fitting. The staff was nothing but vague regarding our application for one of the homes that they "manage" in *******. We were promised to hear a response for our status within a 3-5 day time frame; on a MONDAY. Essentially saying that we should be good to hear a result of denial or approval by Friday (latest), per the representative that worked in the office. We are moving from ********** all the way to ******* with good faith that we will hear from them by the time we get to ******* on Friday or Saturday. Friday comes around and WE had to reach out to them regarding the application, speaking to the office staff and the actual processing department, they continued to state that our application was in process, due to the underwriter "not being in". When we asked when we should expect to hear any word from the underwriter, ***** stated "I don't know when he'll be in, but he will be in later" First of all. how does a PROPERTY MANAGEMENT company not know when a certain IMPORTANT individual will be in? Secondly, they continued to claim that they have been busy with an influx of applications to process. So WHY would the team not do what they need to do to allow the business to flow correctly? Already poor Management by a MANAGEMENT company. I guess everyone does what they want and they allow the applicants wanting to do business with them to be on their convenient time. My wife and I have owned and operated our own real estate, so we understand what it takes to run a property and my wife also comes the Luxury home rental field in ********* **********, which allows ** to understand and empathize with high demand, but this was pure laziness and lack of effort. All in all, it took this company more than a week and a half to get back to us regarding our application and we got a very pathetic way of communicating, as WE HAD TO CALL THEM THE ENTIRE TIME, just to get an update. SAVE YOUR TIME, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

      Why have I been banned from applying for for home rental. Is it because I have section 8. That sounds like discrimination.

      i would not waste my time renting from this company. They are so unprofessional the way they conduct business and the way they handle their applicants. They only let you apply to one home at a time and after you apply they make you play the waiting and guessing game as to if your approved or not. There is no type of communication as to whats really going on with the houses that you apply to. They have no type of professionalism when you call in to check on the status of the home that you apply for. National Home Rentals DEFINITELY DO NOT DESERVE ANY STARS AND SHOULD NOT BE DOING BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      We only rented from National Home Rentals for one year - which was the plan no matter who we were going to rent through since my previous landlord sold his house and we knew we would be buying within the next year. I worked with *** at the start of the application process and he was great! During our year there National home rentals has been great with scheduling any work orders that needed to be completed in a timely manner. The company that they would send out was great at communicating times that they would be there. If I had to leave a compliant it would just be that when we first moved in we didn't have any heat and we received no response from the emergency maintenance line. Since it was a Saturday with no response we did have to go the entire weekend without heat. Other than that one issue National homes was a great company to rent through. If we didn't buy a house I definitely would have renewed my lease. I will add that I myself, work in the business of property management, so I had some high expectations and they met them all. So I would 100% recommend renting through NHR.
