The tenants had been asking for the lawyer information as the association decided that 6 people can decide for the entire building to charge us a large fee for 6 months for tuckpointing. They barely gave us any notice and decided they wanted to take the money out immediately during the holiday despite people not being able to afford it. The association decided to email me and have someone else in the email as well tell me its a bad idea even though the funds are in there to use. That we should always put extra in. If the funds are there the tenants shouldnt have to pay and should have a right to the lawyer yet they wouldnt disclose the lawyer until it was too late to dispute it. There are many tenants that have not been paying their fees and the association continues to charge us extra to cover their end. They want to charge fees and yet we dont even get the right to use the lawyer to stop something we are in disagreement with because they wont provide us the lawyer that our fees go to. The main person, ****, has sent horrible emails when the washer has taken my money. We have dryers and washers that dont work and he refused to replace and refuses to provide refunds for money taken from the machines. I will not pay the additional fee and the company should be reprimanded for refusing to provide the lawyers information.
