I purchased a new vehicle last year, April 2023 2 weeks ago I received a notice of violation on the vehicle that I traded in. I have contacted the store multiple times and left the general store manager 2 voicemails **** To no avail I am not very happy about this I do not like the government coming after me for something that should have been completed last year with my new purchase.Review from Ryan Z

If you are like me and have seen TONS of terrible reviews of this dealership, but you want to give them the benefit of the doubt because they have the vehicle you really want for seemingly the right price.....just DONT!! Save yourself the time and frustration. The most dishonest, disrespectful, and unprofessional establishment I've ever dealt with. Between trying to upcharge me $5,000 for paying cash instead of using their financing (on top of the $2000 fee for locking lug nuts and door guards), offering me $3,000 less for trade in than I was led to believe based on prior email correspondence and their online trade in tool powered by *******, and them selling the truck out from underneath me after driving 4 hours to test drive, they literally made a deal with someone else as we were negotiating how I was going to pay for the vehicle. This dealership is practicing the true definition of bait and switch, they fed me lie after lie throughout the whole process of my week long interaction with them. These people care about money and money only. If you want professionalism, transparency, and honesty.... avoid Al Piemonte Chevrolet entirely!Review from Gina R

I've been getting the runaround since November when I bought a vehicle that I was told had a second ******** they're trying to hide behind some form that they did not give me a guarantee that they would give me the second key. I just assumed verbal verification was enough. Boy was I wrong. Never buying from these scammers ever again!Review from Robert E N

I purchased a vehicle at this dealership and being a trusting person I trusted the sales manager. Which was my first error. He is a true used car salesman in the old sense of the term. One, the sales person agreed to 3 oil changes, part due to the car having no gas in the tank and one for just buying the car and overpaying for it. These the sales manager; on being into the dealership, stated they would issue closer to when i needed an oil change. This didn't happen. And at my first oil change I had to buy new tires because the dealership never check the alignment and it was way out of alignment. And then I did take a loan out. I thought it would be simple interest but it wasn't and after I paid it off and had problems getting a title they would not return my phone calls. My experience with this dealership has been a nightmare. The car is a good car but the experience of the purchase and getting a title just makes me want to sell the car and get a different one that doesn't have the memories of a dealership that doesn't care about they customers. They did have a receipt hidden in the paper work that said "nothing else owed or promised" But it was after this that the oil changes were verbally agreed to. So verbal agreements don't count in their eyes. I could go on for a long time on other things that happened on this sale but these were the major issues. My warning to anyone would be careful and take time to read everything and DO NOT trust them in the least. Boy wish i had read the reviews before going to the dealership would not have gone and form the number of complains it is obvious they don't care.*******************************Review from Daniel M

Bought a truck from them and 3 weeks later they made me return 6 hour drive to fill out state paperwork they forgot. I get there and they said my loan got rejected and I have to sign a new contract with higher interests higher payments and longer term or I couldn't leave with the truck. Even though I had contract in hand and truck was already registered to my name. Ended up leaving them with the truck and couldn't get my aftermarket parts off due to the truck being theirs and not mine.Review from Daniel S

When you buy a 10 year extended warranty you expect 10 years, right? My 2017 had a starter failure. I bought the 10 yr extended warranty 1 year ago through Al Piemonte. After my truck was towed to their dealership, they told me my warranty was "invalid". I asked why and they could not tell me. It took 5 phone calls and after 5 weeks they finally told me it was because my vehicle was not inspected at the time I purchased the warranty for over $2700.00. They then offered me a 2 year powertrain warranty for the same cost instead. To me, this looks like a scam to take your money and then offer you a lesser warranty. When I told the general manager that I wanted a like warranty he said he couldn't do that. I said that I will get a lawyer and he told me to wear a tie to court because the problem is with the extended warranty company, not Al Piemonte. The dealership is obviously at fault because they did not do the inspection the warranty company required. Which in turn, caused my warranty to not be valid. -5 stars for this crooked dealership.Review from Terri J

************** 10/12023 Over charged by ****** to ****** dollars for a vehicle no extras. A basic **** ***** Equinox LS. We have only had the vehicle six weeks. None one from dealership will respond to call or text. Basically stuck with a car with no bells or whistles. Brand new maybe ****** not ******. ********************* Chevrolet. Trade in 2012 Dodge Journey Sxt free and clear title. Did not get military or healthcare workers discounts. Bad business practices. I even took car back next day and was told, just keep it your payments will be lower this is your initial payment. All untrue. Bad deal can't get any help even called corporate. Wow a $100.00 service discount. The is brand new the warranty should be included not extra.Review from Bill S

Called yesterday from out of state yesterday to check on a vehicle, pricing and availability. I was told by *******, while on speakerphone with my wife by my side, that the vehicle was available and they were selling it at MSRP, which I asked very specifically due to a few reviews I've read about this place. Today I called back after long consideration last night to purchase the car and I'm told by the same person that oh by the way there's a $50,000 markup on the car. sorry I didn't know... A clear cut case of bait and switch! I've be n in sales.33 years and know all the tricks, shame on this company. Not honest, go elsewhere. This is how this company works apparently. I think you pray on old people, you sell them a car they cant afford, the car i got horn don't work. And the air bag on the passenger side is missing. I called to speak to some the just pass the buck. I over paid for the car.45.000 for a 2020. I'm trying take other steps. SadReview from Silvia P

Al Piemonte Chevrolet engages in intentional manipulation of fair auto prices and employs distraction to avoid detection during finance signing. The finance paperwork, presented to us, had the cost of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee at $52,722.74. An online search of the Jeeps VIN Number showed the **** of this Jeep, brand new, was $41,000 (not $52,722.74). The sale price sounded high however I thought that the original price, of a 2019 Jeep must have been high. I knew Jeeps were expensive. We were told that we had to provide a down payment of $12,000 cash, which we paid by Credit Card. The cash down payment combined with the Trade in amount brought the Sales Price down to $28,722.74 (had the Sales Price been set to the original new price, the Sales cost, of $41,000, after subtracting the down payment and trade in would have been $17,000. I presented my research and proof that the 2019 Jeep Cherokee, was very overpriced. It exceeded the **** by $26,000. The General Manager said he could sell at any price he wanted and a lawyer would agree with him. The fact the General Manager would not correct the sales value of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee told me that the $26,000 overcharge was intentional. He did not care that we were manipulated The entire time we were in the finance office, the salesman kept interrupting and distracting us. The General ****** may be correct that he did not break any laws however this was clearly an intentional act to overcharge and distract while we were doing the paperwork. Al Piemonte Chevrolet intentionally overcharged (by 2X) for a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee. I think the BBB should put a permanent warning to future buyers and lower the BBB rating of Al ******* Chevrolet.
