We were quoted ******** and they rewrapped all the items and bulked up everything with blankets, then tried to charge us *****. The next day went down to ****. Still knowing they were fluffing the bill, we asked to talk to the manager, and she got back to us 9 days later. They had us sign all the papers (blank) and THEN they filled in all these bogus charges. We only had one room of stuff, they took 66 items, one over 65 they said we can take (how is that ***** more charged)? The items weren't as big as the boxes they allotted (except the bedroom wardrobe) they brought a little truck and spread out all the items. My husband questioned them and they said they will stacked up on 53 ft. semi trailer later when they drop off, so how can they measure square footage? We had small boxes, and the biggest item was a wardrobe for the bedroom that took up 8 medium boxes (for footage). My husband packed and wrapped everything and then they rewrapped over and put tons of blankets over all the items. We thought they were been careful, and found out they were only bulking up, for extra charges (*****). They did not put 364 additional cubic feet, like they wrote on paperwork (my husband was a warehouse manager for 20 years) and he knows spacial footage. The manager finally called 9 days later (been at our new home for a week) and still wanted *****, and manager said they will not give back ****** and we should get another mover (they never left **, and holding our load hostage basically) still sitting at their ******* storage warehouse. They picked up 9/13 and said between 3 and 10 days we would get our stuff, 9 days later it's still sitting at their storage. The ***** extra and never leaving the state, our cousin told us they are fraudulent, and we should contact FMCSA ********************************************** We wanted to file a report with you (bbb first) and will do so next. We can get other movers, but want our money back.
