      I have recently dealt with **** Counter Elk Grove Village location for my kitchen remodeling project. I ordered all cabinets from them, designer helped layout the kitchen cabinets properly and we put in an ordered thereafter, everything went fine until this point. The day we received our delivery, >50% of the cabinets were damaged, chipped etc. I refused to sign the delivery papers. ******** told me that delivery person would know all parts and cabinets they are delivering and that person would help me sort out everything i was receiving. If i sign and something is missing, they might not deliver the missing piece so on top of receiving damaged goods, deliver person said he had no idea about the cabinets and parts. After calling the cabinets company same day and providing information about the damaged goods, designer told me that warehouse will replace everything with 1-2 days. After 4-5 days and multiple follow-ups via email and phone calls, they delivered most but not all damaged cabinets (note my contractor couldn't work during this phase). Yet again 50% of the delivered cabinets were again damaged and every cabinet had a sticker that they verified the quality. I went through this cycle or calling and sending emails to the designer (she eventually stopped responding to my calls and only responded to my emails, extremely unprofessional behavior) for the returns and replacement, after another week they finally agreed to deliver rest of the damaged pieces/cabinets. So we wasted about 2-2.5 weeks to get all the cabinets delivered.Customer service provided during this difficult was borderline ridiculous. ******** started washing her hands as if customer who she sold the cabinets to didn't matter to her and complained about their internal staff that it's their responsibility to deal with issues and not the designer. Again as a customer, it shouldn't matter to me as long as i am being taken care of. After collecting a garbage of damaged cabinets, they refused to collect them and said that i need to deal with discarding damaged cabinets and that's their policy, which is yet again ridiculous policy and not customer centric. Another example of customers being hung out to dry. Once my contract started installing the cabinets, he realized that same size/spec cabinets (i.e. 24x12) weren't the same size/spec, they were either not leveled properly (bad installation) or smaller or bit larger so you could see unevenness if they are installed next to each other, we still could see gaps etc. There were numerous issues with the cabinet doors, cabinets etc. etc. To summarize my experience, if you would like to order from them, you can and pray that everything goes right. At any moment if you get into any trouble, forget about getting customer service from them, be aware about this before putting in your hard earned dollars in this company's hand. "
