Michaelson and messenger LLC has since day one not been forthright about their position and who they are. It was expressed to me that there would be a public adjuster however the public adjuster that they presented to me was actually not licensed to be a public adjuster. In addition it has been very difficult to get the work done for the house. Multiple times the wrong product has been placed in the house without moving it for over 3 months at times. As of now me and my family have been displaced for over two and a half months from our property because the construction company has been negligent and finishing the project. I have reached out multiple times of my lawyer and they have not contacted us and ****** once since then.The first disbursement made from the escrowed funds by Cross Country Mortgage was $241,656.44, primarily allocated for asbestos abatement. It is worth noting, however, that the back porch stairways leading from the basement to the second floor were not removed.The second disbursement, totaling $80,000, was made by Cross Country Mortgage on 12/19/22.Continuing from the previous statement, the third check issued by the mortgage company was dated 12/28/23 and amounted to $102,359.02.As for the fourth and final check derived from the funds originally allocated based on the travelers' estimate, it was issued on 7/28/23 for a total of $47,128.83. I currently possess this check, which is for Michaelson and Messinger until they complete the remaining work on my house.My encounter with Michaelson and Messinger has been nothing short of tumultuous. Through numerous sit-down discussions, including one that was recorded, as well as various face-to-face conversations, it has become apparent to me that this company has shown a lack of sincerity in completing the project correctly. Their actions have involved reaching out to the wrong individuals to address issues in the work, carrying out tasks with errors, delays, or even neglecting them altogether.
