My elderly mother was an inpatient at ******* Hospital while suffering from pneumonia. In a matter of a few days I received a call to come to pick her up, When I arrived it was very obvious to me that she was still severely stricken with pneumonia. I and my cousin waited for four to five hours for the nurse to release her. Approximately a year or two later my mother was again an inpatient at this hospital. It was very obvious to her that they put her into a **** in which the patients were expected to die shortly,. The door to her room was left wide open so that she could view all the dead patients being whisked off in gurneys. I would not recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.Advocate Health Care Response

Dreyer medical group billing department has the worse service anyone can receive. In order for me to speak to "******" Manager of the *************** to solve an issue it took me like 8 phones calls. He told me that the right person was going to call me to follow up and to solve the issue. After waiting for three week, I call on 2/13/24 and spoke to ***** who sent ****** and message. He never called me back. Today, 2/19/24 I call and "***" took my phone, he refused to take my phone call as I was on the phone with "***". She was communicating to ****** and refusing to take my phone call. He didn't have the professionalism to take my phone call. I am really upset. Nobody should go through this situation specially when they make a medical mistake.Advocate Health Care Response

They code their outpatient XRAYS as a specialist hospital visit and insurance won't cover the cost anymore. My XRAYS at Endeavor and Northwestern are always covered by my BCBS PPO. Advocate Aurora's scheduling department scheduled me for a closed department then sent me to the inpatient side to be charged more. Their billing financial customer service is trash. No help at all. I WILL NEVER USE THIS HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AGAIN. Thank God we have Endeavor Health and Northwestern that actually care for their patients. BYE.Advocate Health Care Response

My Advocate experiences have generally been good but today I left the immediate care in *********** (**************) feeling insulted and no "care" in immediate care. Nurse never gave her name as she was doing vitals. Even looked annoyed (shaking her head) as she was entering the information. The doctor spent about 2-3 minutes with me doing a couple of checks before dismissing my concerns and barely answering any questions. No differential diagnosis was given as to what could be going on. Just dismissed the concern and moved very quickly. It was truly one of the worst doctor's ****** experiences that I've had and I'm still left with the health concern I walked in with. I would love to get my co-pay refunded as it was a waste of money.Advocate Health Care Response

Christ Hospital in ********, Illinois and Advocate Health Care is the worst hospital and Medical Center. Please do your self a favor and seek medical service somewhere else. The attending providers do not round at the hospital, you are only seen by the residents and hospitalist. And follow up with a specialist is so far out that you which is horrible for anyone with a serious condition. The staff is rude and uncompassionate. Ratings don't lie. If I could rate this medical group with a 0 I would. The patient care at this hospital is horrible and complaining to the patient advocates is a waste of time. I got a bill from advocate and have been trying to dispute it, for $2,800. Then another bill for $800 for the same exact time and visit. Over this dispute period it was sent to collections. I spent hours on the phone with Advocate and the collection agency trying to understand how to afford this. I was literally told by Advocate, well you're in the same boat as everyone else, if you have to use the hospital you have to pay, otherwise you're out of luck. A truly evil company for a few days in the hospital with just an IV and Tylenol being administered.Advocate Health Care Response

My daughter had a school exam in March 2023 at the appointment I was unaware of the fact that she needed 2 required vaccines as I was never informed by staff. Now September 28th the school has contacted me informing me my daughter is in need of these vaccines or she'll be removed from school October 5th. 3 hours of being transferred and waiting for calls back advocate has not owned up to their mistake has not offered me a reasonable time or day to get the vaccines. They simply disregarded their mistake and leave me with liability of my daughter possibly being removed from school being undervaccinated.Advocate Health Care Response

Single worst hospital system in *******. I would never recommend anyone use them. They will tell you one charge in the office and then weeks later a large bill will show up. Their billing customer service is a disaster and won't know how to help you. They are everything that is wrong with our healthcare system.Advocate Health Care Response

They told me a doctors in office visit was a $30 Copay, then they charged me an additional $230. ****** the Team Leader from ****************** said he'd call me in 2 weeks. I called him 3 weeks later, they wouldn't let me talk to him. Then a week later I got their manager ******, who said I must of called my insurance and they didn't mess up. So they are pretty much **************** All they had to do was man up & fix it, but they didn't care. Worst customer service I received in years.Advocate Health Care Response
