found out my car everywhere is only worth $4795 and less with trade but Westlake charging me over $13,000.00 almost 3X the amount of the car isn't that extortion??. So even in an Auction, after its sold. I would still owe over $6,000.00 SMDH. Worst experience ever!!!!!

*** been dealing with west lakes unprofessional and really flat out disrespectful business for over a year and a half now *** tried to understand what they continuously choose to price ***** after a contract or settlement was established *** had my vehicle repossessed and shipped to a city hours away from my home not to mention two different citys when it comes to my property from my vehicle. Its mind blowing how these people can pick and choose when to just up the price of your settlement anytime after the date of due payment. *** personally been feeling used by this company and will never again use or refer anybody I care about to them they are inconsiderate of the current state of emergency and my familys loss or reduced financial income just alone during Covid 19 *** had my car taken 2-3 times and instead of them being any type of understanding and feeling some type of compassion towards their customer they add multiple times more money on the remaining balance of my vehicle. Just recently I had to pay them 4800 dollars in February this year than set an established amount of around 700 dollars that I would split in two final payments for my vehicles title finally after over 2 years and just a 17000 dollar loan from them I regret ever doing business with these rude people that answer their phones than its someone new every time I call this last incident is the final straw for me and my family I feel legitimately robbed and feel like its illegal what they are doing to their customers flat out!! I paid my first out of two payments *********** this year and was scheduled for my last payment of 367 dollars on April 29th when I initially paid marchs payment over the phone with a rep from Westlake I repeatedly asked what ***** late cuz work was getting slower and I wanted to be sure my price I owed wasnt getting raised 5 times the amount I owed again and mind you the calls are supposed to be recorded right the rep said its ok you will be fine just do your best to get the payment made ASAP I wasnt able to work for 2 weeks so around April 28 I got called back to work again and ** paid weekly so I was hours make my payment the ***** check I got the following week but ** **** for believing anything else wouldnt go sideways again when I thought maybe now they will be happy to get my title sent to me and be done robbing me and my family by price gouging my settlement because they came and actually took my vehicle again with all my property again from a friends house where my car was getting worked on I was in another city at work and got that ridiculous phone call explaining my vehicle being gone as soon as I heard that Westlake was calling me to. I was beyond furious but was doing my best to explain my situation and reason with them for my vehicle back as I was getting a personal loan to make the last supposed to be final payment on my auto loan... as I explained myself I was rudely cut off and than hung up on by a disrespectful representative from Westlake so I called back while ** at work to get through to another rep who proceeded to speak down to me cuz my last payment was over due less than ten maybe 15 days tops because I was out of work with no unemployment income because a lot of peoples accounts were frozen pending identity verification because of fraud so I literally had 0 financial income for a few hard weeks yet I got disconnected again so then I call back to get transferred to a sales rep manager for Westlake who astounded me by being the rudest inconsiderate person *** had to do business or talk to at all for that alone I am really not ok at all that the manager woman actually said some stuff that as a person of a position that can decide the outcome of my situation I feel completely mistreated and down right ribbed by this company the lady I talked to in March assured me this wouldnt happen with just a payment of 367 dollars before I get my auto title I explained to the manager my situation yet again and explained what the sales rep told me in March there she proceeded to taunt me cuz they had my vehicle again and she knew they were not gonna leave my settlement alone but raise it and add a repo fee again my blood was boiling she repeatedly said and or so after explaining her employees told me I would be fine considering its my last payment I said how do they think its ok to treat people this way especially in a state of emergency where our economy is being severely damaged she said I would of paid for my payment an I shouldnt be upset cuz they took my only means of transportation to and from anywhere yet again oh ** shaking thinking about the rep manager basically laughing at me and than cutting me off just to tell me if I shut up she would explain what I need and how much to get my vehicle back again she went again to surprise me with an outlandish and down right unacceptable price of Over 5000 dollars as my new remaining balance that wasnt even 3 weeks over due as I was trying to understand the problem with that and the fact I have been lied to and charged more than I agreed to as a settlement in the beginning and I ended up borrowing it from family or getting personal loans to retrieve my vehicle that is always took straight to an auction yard to be resold for blue book value which this manager made sure to tell me she was looking forward to doing if I didnt give them at least 3800 dollars by 15 days ** out of work now ********* for lack of being there due to not having my vehicle at all I need help to fight back against this corrupt company they shouldnt be able to get away with that type of treatment to someone who has paid them by now the 17000 the financed me for I am pretty sure *** paid a few thousand over it making my automobile which altogether was supposed to be 21000 total I put 4000 down making it a 17000 total for them to finance me for I cant believe its not a crime to raise the price of something that cost that much income free its down to my last payment but this has happened to me 3 times where they more than tripled my ending settlement balance and held my car like a weapon to get as much more money out of me that they could but why I completely am disappointed and disgusted with this company as a whole organization for the fact it wasnt just a few employees that were rude or talked to you like you were dumb but even their management was just so disrespectful and rude beyond belief I would love to get this issue addressed as soon as possible I am still careless right now and I dont have that type of money or let alone borrow that much again just a few months after I borrowed the last 4800 to get my car back than any lawyer advice or even recommending me to the right person to help make something happen positive for myself after all this somewhat similar to or **** category as extortion to its customer and the rating from bbb is a upgrade from the grade they deserve as a mistreated customer never again will they rob me repeatedly while completely the most disrespectful as I ever seen a ****************** of people that are in the positions their in that could be used to positively help people instead of hurting them and laughing in your face for doing business with them at all my advice dont take any financial help from them look for an alternative option their in it to keep u paying for a car well after its original price was paid easier income for them

This company is a ripoff your paying more on the interest rate than the car please dont get them cause you will owe money than the car is worth, I bought a 2013 Ford Explorer and I owe more money than the truck is worth *** already paid almost for the truck and the payment was not adding up the truck was 14,687 and I was paying every month and Im still stuck on 15k three years *** paid 475.66 ad that up and you figure out what the heck is going on??

They will **** up the original price of your car almost twice as much. They have no compassion for the disabled people that are on fixed incomes. You can let them know from the start, and they tell you to call them back or they will call you in so many days, and it doesnt happen. Im very unsatisfied with their business.
