************** I deposited a live payroll check at their main branch on 04/06/2024. *** interaction was quick, pleasant and left the credit union feeling good about my choice to switch. Fast forward to 04/08/2024 and I was ordering groceries from Wal Mart. I was pleased about getting the fraud alert but after confirming the charge was legit, My card was denied for NSF. After looking at my mobile app, I could see that my check was posted but they put a hold on it for 10 days stating it would post on 04/17/2024. *** issue with this my Electric, Cable, and Rent are all supposed to be paid before I have access to any of money. Now. I understand the policy of the hold. But what did not happen was I ever informed that there would even be a hold. I would have used a cash checking service and brought them cash. So when I told them my electric and gas would be shut off. I was told ""I understand" and "Sorry Sir" *** worst part is it was the manager who take the check with out informing me of the hold and they have signs saying checks will be available the next business days in their lobby
