I bought a protect a bed mattress pad with a 10 year warranty for ******. I have been trying since the end of December ****************************************************************************************************************** e-mails to contact someone. The store where I purchased it from was MATTRESS FIRM in *********, *******. I have been given 9 different phone numbers to contact somebody. I have spoken with several people but was given wrong information or wrong phone numbers. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. my mattress pad says PROTECT A BED and the phone number on the tag is no good. I have the original receipt and pictures of the mattress pad. It is a shame not one person can help me. I have left several messages with different numbers and nobody has called me back. I document every time I try to contact PROTECT A BED.......****** IS A LOT OF MONEY TO PURCHASE A MATTRESS PAD. I will never walk into a Mattress Firm store again. I have spoken with a lot of people and relatives and they feel the same. If anyone knows how or I can contact Protect A Bed please let me know.Review from Laura M

Defective product and the company does not stand by their warranty. Precisely followed washing instructions and product disintegrated, completely fell apart coming out of the washing machine on its first wash. Received as a house warming gift with no receipt of purchase, but had the tag from the product, which was torn off during the wash cycle. I reached out to the company and they did not back up their warranty. The product is owned by ********* Sleep and Decor refused to accept my claim because I did not have the original receipt. So my advice keep receipts and for those who receive the product as a fit, be sure they will not accommodate. My warning to all, is to be very careful of these companies who sell overpriced poor quality products that originate from *****.Review from David L

I purchased several protect-a-bad premium pillow ******************* over the past few years & some of them are now starting to to disintegrate into a fine, white powder that is a nightmare to clean. When I started to find the dust/powder on the side of my ************* several months ago, I was mystified as to what it could be & where it was coming from? Did I have a bug infestation? Was it pollen? Was it mold? Was it being shed by my carpet or curtains? Did I have dandruff? Was it coming off my body? Was it coming off my girlfriend's body? It was driving me crazy so I started the investigation. I searched all over my room to try to find out where it was coming from. I checked my scalp every day for dandruff but there was none. I started showering twice a day in case it was coming off my body. I vacuumed, cleaned & scrubbed the entire room, wiped down my bed *********** tables, washed all my bedding, ******************* only to see it re-appear a few days later. Next I decided to inspect & use a lint roller on every piece of clothing that I wear & every item of bedding that I use only to discover that 2 of my **************** fitted sheet were shedding a fine, white powder. Now I'm starting to wonder if this powder was toxic? After all, I had been breathing it in while I slept for weeks... while using a CPAP machine. I was also recently diagnosed with asthma. I can't help but wonder if a class action suit is pending against the manufacturer? The products were obviously poorly made & inadequately tested. Perhaps North American companies ought to reconsider when considering outsourcing their manufacturing to *****... a country that loathes us.Review from Brittany J

I am extremely disappointed in the manner in which my concern was addressed. My initial concern was presented to the company mid-September of 2022. Today, Jan. 5th was the day the company attempted to "rectify" the concerns. Furthermore, their idea of corrective action was not to address the faults with their product, but to gas light me. I was asked several times to send him multiple pictures under different lighting to prove their product was faulty. I was also told that I could hire a professional cleaner to come clean my mattress, which their product was supposed to protect.Over the last few months I have been ignored and inconvenienced. I've spoken to multiple representatives before anyone recorded the claim. Protect-a-bed is bad for business. Their only goal is profit, not customer satisfaction. Their sales are based on purchasing a protective cover to secure the longevity of a mattress. "If mattress is damaged while protected by protect-a-bed, we will replace your mattress." Sadly, none of this is true. I wasted money securing all the mattresses in my home and the product is not effective; more importantly, the company cares nothing about the customer after they've made their money.Review from Shaunna P.

I bought protect a bed mattress cover for my $3000 bed and cover doesnt protect at all. It leaks over the SMALLEST leaks (for an example: a diaper leaking at night) I just want a new cover since theres a warranty. Im hoping its just my cover that is defaulted.. I cant find a way to contact them. If you click the link on ******* it send you to a different mattress cover company located in ********. If I can get help with this, it would be awesome. Thank you.Protect-A-Bed Response

I bought the Protect-a-Bed Allerzip ********** ***** Pillow Protector (item number BOM0180) in the fall of 2014 (7 years ago). Last night I discovered that the material had completely degraded, disintegrated, and was coating my sons bed and bedroom in a fine white dust. He first mentioned the dust about three weeks ago, but at that time he said it had been a problem ever since we returned from vacation - three weeks before that. We could not figure out where the dust was coming from. His sister is away so we moved him into her room. He brought his pillows with him to her room. We removed the ** in his room, closed the windows, mopped the floor, washed the sheets. He then said the problem was in his sisters room, too. So we moved him back to his room and waited to see if it was better now with - we live in an apartment building and we wondered if someone had been doing construction nearby. But the dust was back. Last night I made a loop of clear packing tape around my hand so I could roll it over his bed and try to collect the dust, and thats how we discovered it was coming from his pillow protector. We opened the pillow protector and it was like the pillow was totally covered with a flour-like substance - except so much more ominous than that - my son had been sleeping for six weeks snuggling up with a pillow that was poofing out clouds of synthetic dust. It made me feel like he had been breathing something like asbestos or lead paint dust right next to his nose and mouth for all that time - I can only imagine what the material of this pillow protector is. I took the pillow and removed the protector (dust spraying out all over our kitchen floor, my black rubber Oofo slippers, even our stove-top), vacuumed the pillow and put it back into a fresh pillowcase so he could get to bed. When I put the vacuum away I noticed that the white dust had gotten trapped in the connecting joints of the vacuum telescoping pipe. It is just all over the place. There really should be higher regulatory standards when it comes to what materials can be used in bedding.
