I purchased my newly-built home on 12/14/2022 from Mallow Construction/Mallow Home Builders.In August and September of 2023, I noticed that the drainpipe outside my back door was no longer pushing rain/ground water into the sewer, but rather it was overflowing onto my patio. The builder said that he reached out to a plumber to come look at it. I waited for three weeks and ************ never showed up. Finally, I told the builder that I would contact a plumber to examine the situation. He agreed.RA Plumbing inspected the pipe and found that it was clogged with CEMENT. The builder met with the plumber to discuss options to remedy the situation and the builder agreed that RA Plumbing would do what they needed to do.RA Plumbing had to jackhammer my patio, remove and replace the pipe, then have a separate concrete company come repair my patio. The receipts are attached. The builder was aware of this and knew this was under the 1-year warranty.The repairs cost $5,482.01 which I had to pay out of my pocket. This should have been paid for by the builder, but the plumbing company didn't trust him to pay them. Rightly so. I've been waiting since the beginning of December for the builder to pay me back. He does not return calls, texts or emails. This is 100% shoddy work done by HIS company. See the attached photos. You are welcome to call RA Plumbing, as well, as they can vouch for the poor workmanship done on my house. This is only one example.I'm also still waiting for the builder to complete almost every single item on my 1-year punch list, many things that I shared with him almost right away after I closed on my home.Mallow Construction is NOT a reputable or reliable builder, in my opinion.
