After flying into ******* Saturday night (5/11/2024) I had been going in between my chair in the waiting area and the room for two days to keep from disturbing mommy & new baby when the reception lady **** came to inform me that my things in the waiting area were unacceptable & need to be removed immediately. I went out and threw my food away and took my jacket off the chair. I went back to the room & was, cornered by nurse ******* (***** Blond nurse) and was told that under no circumstances could I LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE WAITING AREA. I apologized, went looking for the cleaning staff, but when I found her she informed me that she had not been to the that floor yet. I also found the supervisor who said that NO ONE had spoken to **** about my things. **** had made the whole story up and was spreading lies. I went back to my daughters room & found the nurses gathered around Tinagossiping. Uncomfortable, I went on in the room to gather my things and leave because I didn't want to carry that BAD ENERGY into the room. When I came back out **** was still holding court. I have photos. Those nurses had more arrogance than empathy. Experience matters and it seems ************** need more. EVEN WORSE ******************** left my daughter sleeping on ****** sheets the entire night. The nurse/tech in the next morning was stunned when she noticed the ****** sheets & fresh chucks on top from the night before. There were also multiple incidents of cross contamination. The baby buggy was touched by 80 % of those entering the room but the handles were never cleaned until I cleaned them. The discharge nurse never washed her hands nor changed gloves. She cleaned items from the floor, then touched the baby to move him. Then she once again removes trash from the patient bed and floor and she never washed her hands before picking the baby up and putting him on the car seat! NASTY!!!other Black families that felt they were disrespected and mistreated by the same staff. UNACCEPTABLE
