Ordered one model of phone from the company website and received a far inferior several hundred dollar cheaper model instead. Besides multiple calls and emails customer service has done nothing to help several weeks later, will have to cancel the card payment if not resolved soon.

I am a long time Motorola customer since 1972. I am 70 years old and have used several different devices from bag phones and CB radiod to cell phones in my life. I have always been very satisfied with Motorola's products and service, till now. I purchased a new phone online with a trade in that was rated as $40 trade-in. I received my new phone transferred all information to the new phone sent the older phone Motorola back to the company as told. By the time all said and done and was time to receive rebate the rebate was down to $2. They said that the phone was broken and didn't work properly and I know for a fact when I send it in because I take care of my phone that it was in perfect condition. I was not told to take a picture of the phone before I sent it or anything so I have no proof other than my word, it cost more to ship my old phone to and from Motorola for $2. I understand now that ***** is the main owner of Motorola which is now part of ******, I even called twice and they inform me that without a picture there was nothing they could do about the rebate. Like I said I am 70 years old and I know for a fact that they're reputation was better than this before the transition. I also explained I will never use their equipment again and anyone I talk to I will tell this story. I realize it's probably won't do any good but I wanted to get it out there for people to know. Good luck in your choice of electronic equipment. Because there is more than one way to fraud and scam people.

As the trade in devices are handle and shipped with Phobio. If the device was received damaged, they would update you accordingly. Motorola does not handle the trade in device. And if the trade in device is rejected, the trade in value would need to be paid. We recommend reading all terms and conditions of trade in before purchasing.

The customer placed the order for the device in September of 2023. As the device would not be in the buyer's remorse period of 14 days from delivery, a new phone replacement would not be an option. The warranty options were provided to the customer. They chose the repair option. If the device is unable to be repaired, we will send out a like for like, certified like new replacement. We consider this matter resolved.

Razer flip less than a year old with bubbles on the screen. Over 4 hrs phone time with Motorola hung up on several times. They want to take your phone. This is not acceptable in this day. Everyone uses their phones for multiple reasons on a daily basis. When asked if they don't provide customer service that is customer friendly, I was hung up on yet again. So I will have a bubbled screen. They should replace the phone for the cost as it is under warranty for a full yr. I will not purchase another Motorola anything and would highly recommend to anyone else not to purchase from them. They'll sell a nice looking product but then become arrogant and argumentative when asked for repair. Shame the n them. Shame on me for being cheap and not sticking with ******* which ever be used for the last 15 yrs.

The customer reached out to us and was advised a repair was needed to fix the screen protector. For this option, the device needs to be sent in. The customer refused to send in the device to repair the screen protector, they repeatedly hung up on our agents and refused to listen to the agents explanations. The customer can call us to set up the screen protector repair or go online to set it up.

I don't see why I need an update on my cell phone every week. And now I'm hearing about the health issues being caused by the 5G network. This phone supposedly should be connected to 2G but when I try to select the button for 2g the button has been rendered unchangeable. I would like my money back for this phone it's no longer the phone that I purchased after so many updates that I did not agree to.

      08/21/2024

When purchasing a device you agree to the terms of updates. Updates come from Motorola, the carrier and ******* Networks will be dependent on devices and carriers. As we are showing no orders for the customer through ************************** the customer will need to go to the point of sale for a refund.

As the customer purchased the device from Cricket, they would need to go to point of sale for refund or brand new replacement. The customer refused all warranty options for repair/replacement.

Scam artists. I bought a 2023+ razr 4 months ago. They plastered the fact everywhere that I was not to remove the factory installed screen protector for any reason. Even sent numerous emails stating the fact and made it ******* clear that it would void the warranty. Fast forward to the present, my screen protector is falling off - all by itself. Took 2 hours to get a *** on the phone, they set me up an appointment with my local UBreakIFix facility all covered under warranty. All well and good right? NOT! Show up for my 11 AM appointment and there was a line out the door. Took over an hour just to get checked in for my appointment. Tech said it would take about 30 minutes so I left the phone. Gave them 60 and minutes and returned to pick it up, only to find out they didn't have the repair part. SMH. Asked a few questions and found out that they've NEVER had the part. He logged onto his ordering system and showed me that he couldn't even order it. Because Motorola hasn't even released it to be shipped to third party repair facilities. LOL So I called the *** back. Took another 2 hours to get someone on the phone. Explained the situation, they thought it was just a problem at that UBIF location. So she made me an appointment at another facility. I decided to call ahead this time and found out that they don't have the part either. Third time is a charm right? NOT! The call was escalated to the 'advanced team', she proceeded to tell me that sending the phone to them for repair was my only option. Would take at least 7 to 10 business days to complete. How am I supposed to run my business on that? She then tried to get me to buy another Motorola to use as a backup while my primary is out for repair. Not in my life time. I'll go replace this F'n piece of S~!@ with something more reliable. For being one of our 'Bleeding Edge' tech companies, I'd have to say that they have failed miserably. Bet of luck with all your endeavors, just leave Motorola out of the equation.

We do have a contract with UBreakIfix for repairs. It is up to the stores to get the parts from their distributor. For the issue the customer was having, a repair would need to be set up. The customer has refused this. We consider this matter resolved, unless the customer would like to set up a repair.

Absolutely the worst customer service in regards to repairs. Sent in for warranty repair for pixel issues, received razr+ back with front screen popping off, called them immediately regarding this issue and now they want me to send it back for review to see if they will cover it under warranty or if I will have to pay to fix their mistakes.

As this is a Canadian device, the warranty options were provided by Canada support for repair. If the device is found to not have physical damage, the fee would not be required. Physical damage is not covered under the warranty.

customer service is the WORSE!! Purchased a Razr love the phone BUT 5 months later 1/2 the screen doesn't work it's under warranty BUT try sending it to them for repair. Oh that's right you get the run around until you just say F$#%! it. It's July 27 been trying since July 8 to return. UNBELIEVABLE! For weeks I could never get the shipping label they kept claiming they emailed but NOTHING. (No not in spam) Then finally I got it shipped it off on Thursday by FED-X today's Saturday they have no record it was sent. Been on the phone over an hour trying to speak to someone. Get someone on the phone they hang up. I call back wait another 30 on the phone for that call to drop, called again called dropped after 20 minutes of waiting listening to the same **** song over and over!! Put in a request for a call back. Not hopefully I will ever see my phone again. If it worked it's a great phone. But not being able to use half the screen is not an option.
