      We did not have work done by them but the people upstairs did and that is where the problem starts. after the company completed the work upstairs we found we had water running into our unit below from a drain pipe they broke installing a shower. after calling the company and talking to a rep who informed me that they don't take responsibility for anything they touch.....nothing but the product they sell and that is it! So here we sit with water damage to our unit and the cost of repairs because of a company that takes no responsibility for the work they do. Please do not use this company unless your willing to put up with the problems they bring!

      Where to start. The salesmen comes in talking up Bath Fitter to my wife and I. He was a bit arrogant and kept saying that today is the last day for a $250.00 discount if we decide to have them do the work and kept pressing the issue. We had a few estimates and they were in line with the others so we gave in. They did not have a tub shell to fit our current tub so they had to come back 2 different times with different samples. Finally found one and scheduled the job. They came out and broke out the old cast iron tub/walls. The guy doing the work didn't waste time. He went as far as he could and then stopped. I why he stopped, he said the plumber has to come out and do the plumbing before he can go any further. 2hrs later a plumber shows up. I am in a condo/duplex/town home. How in the heck can you do the plumbing and connect everything while the walls, tub shell and most of the work is already completed. They reassured me that it would be fine the plumber knows what he is doing and completed the job, SO WE THOUGHT. They said wait 2 days for everything to set/dry then we could use the shower. 2 days later we run the water to check out everything and thought this was great it works and we have a nice new shower. VERY WRONG!!! Went down to the first floor and water was pouring out of the ceiling through my kitchen and cabinets. Called and complained was told to send a receipt for all my dry goods that where ruined for reimbursement. They came back out 1 week later, take all the cabinets down, cut open the ceiling and connect the plumbing the right way. Then had to have them re-drywall/mud/tape the ceiling. then had to have them come back 2 days later to sand and rehang the cabinets. Low and behold about 6 mos later had to have a professional plumber come in and redo the plumbing since Bath Fitter used 1.5 inch pipe for the shower drain which was causing the tub/shower to drain slowly. They refused to fix it! BF did not offer a refund/discount for the HUGE HEADACHE!

      My family had hoped to become a customer of ******************* after our wonderful Sales experience with ***** which included measuring, taking photos, explaining the process with small displays, applying for credit and more. Sadly, after 6 weeks of silence, there has yet to be any follow up from the person responsible for scheduling. I contacted ***** to find out it was *****. I called ***** and she stated it was still in a review status and she would escalate and return to me in the same day. I explained how frustrating it is to be ignored, with absolutely no follow up (even to simply state they are still working on this or they cannot assist, anything). ***** assured me she would return that same day. Yet, days later, dead silence again. I called ***** again, left a voicemail for her, days followed, no response. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was not in as well so we were left with no one to follow up. Due to this feeling of unimportance, and not having the time to chase around a scheduler, we have decided to cancel our request. This was a very frustrating process and horrible customer service experience for us. I have also contacted ***** a final time to advise of this and hope they can work on training scheduling staff on how to keep in touch with their customers, maybe including simple software that allows follow up with automatic reminders so it would not be left to them to remember on their own. Im sure you would agree customers and referrals are what keeps a company growing. Simply ignoring them does not meet this goal for success.

      This Bathfitter has very poor customer service and workmanship quality. Had numerous call-backs to fix simple issue that should have been addressed at initial installation. Have one major problem with a bathroom door that was re-installed improperly and now doesn't close. Have been trying for 3 weeks to have the door fixed without any success. Had to have the door fixed, by a handyman service at a cost of $150.00. And, still no response from Bathfitter. Do not contract with this Bathfitter for your own sanity.

      Horrible experience. A man from this location came to measure & provide estimate on March 1. I gave him a deposit to begin job on March 3. I received no communication from the company for 2 months!!!! No idea when job would start. Nothing. After many calls, I finally got into the schedule to have materials ordered in May. So they didn't even order materials for over 2 months! Job is transfered to the Northbrook location. Install happens on May 11, but it is defective. ***** does not drain out of tub. A pool of water is left behind. I call to have it fixed, and am told to be here at 8 am 5/18. It is now 11 am and no one is here. I reach out to the company, and am told they scheduled a new installation ahead of my "repair"!!!! But no one told me of new timing. I do not live at this location. I am an hour away. I don't consider this a repair, I see it as installation not completed. Would not recommend Bathfitter to my worst enemy.
