    Refund or honor warranty offered at another midas location.I would like to file a complaint against midas on ********** I had my horn totally replaced, and several months after it stopped working. Midas had just said I may need to periodically come back to have the horn blown out. Finally I went to another midas location as this is not normal for a new horn and they had just tie wrapped my horn right underneath my car rather than behind the front bumper like it should have been. So, debris was collecting. I have a 24 month warranty that was given at midas and they are refusing to fix since they said it's new ownership. At this point I do not trust the location as they have taken advantage of me. I also live 10 hours away now and would like to receive my warranty for the horn at another midas location . They are now not honoring the warranty on the paper saying due to ownership change they're not liable and won't honor warranty.

    Let me start by saying that I no longer live near this Midas but continue to take my vehicle here because they always service it. So when my mom said her brakes were bad I told her will take it to Midas. I called the day before to ask if they could see me Friday and I was told that they could. Friday comes drop the car off early in the morning I spoke to **** in the front office, tell him that there was a dashboard light on also he told me h*** look at it and give me a call back. Call me back he tells me about a sealant and I will most likely take the light off and hes going to do brakes and rotors and quotes me a price. He told my mother three hours so she decided to wait five hours later I end up picking her up he told me we can get the car the next day. The next day comes he tells me they delivered the wrong part and it will not be ready until Monday. Monday I go to pick up the car Nik ****** tell me about anything that went wrong so I paid and gave my mother the key and left. My mother calls me and tells me her check engine light is on. I said it might be a mistake maybe they forgot to turn something off she said no she went in and talk to them and they told her it will be $400 to fix. So I called and I speak to ****, and I asked where was the disconnect he tells me that my mother didnt tell him the check engine light was on so they didnt fix that. I myself told him there was a light on the dashboard and he told me that he would look at it and fix it. Second you telling me what an untrained owner is telling you thats wrong with the vehicle versus your trained professional technician taking it for a test drive and finding out whats wrong with it. He tells me that his technician didnt tell him about the check engine light until last minute. That ****** sound like my problem and even if he told you last minute you never told me any of this. **** let me pay for a vehicle that he did not fix. Im very disappointed in Midas and the lack of service I received. They have just lost a customer.
