April 23,2023 I took my car in to have the oil changed and the battery replaced. I don't know if the oil was changed or not because none of the fluids were topped off. But the battery was replaced, and the kids doing the job also pulled 2 wires in the engine compartment. We didn't know what they did but I told them my car wasn't running right and they said my car was fine. I drove back to my house in first gear and my speedometer read 0 MPH. I really wasn't supposed to drive just yet since I needed cataract surgery on both eyes, so I didn't take my car to be repaired for another month. On April 21st I brought my car in for repair and the tech said he would look at it on Monday. He tried all sorts of things to find the problem. It acted like the speed sensor in the transmission was bad, but replacing that made no difference. Finally, he found the wires that had been pulled. The battery has already gone dead, and it has been replaced. It was a waste of both time and money to go to that shop for two easy jobs. Jobs that I have done myself many years ago. Those kids were technicians only because of the uniforms they had on, they know little to nothing about cars. And they made my car dangerous to drive in traffic.I should have left when the one kid kept telling me to go sit in the waiting area while I was getting out of my car. I finally told him to let me get my cane out of the back seat and I would go to the waiting area. He was so insistant that I not see what they were doing, and that is why I don't know if the oil and filter were actually changed. I will never go back to that place and that was my first and only visit there. Not a good first impression when they mess up your car.I will show you a receipt and battery sticker for that job.
