This Dealership takes advantage of the elderly. My 85 year old mother in law has dementia (and cancer) and does not drive and does not have a drivers license but wanted to buy a car for her son, even though she lives on a fixed income and does not have the money to buy a car for her son. So one of the Gjovik Ford salesman "****" came to her house to pick her up and take her to the dealership to sell her a car - that she wanted to buy for her son . So my Mother in law was all alone when she bought the car, with no family there to even look at the car. After the car was purchased, we found out it had Transmission problems. Now my 85 yr old Mother in law is stuck with a 6 year car payment and when it's paid off, she will have spent $22,000 for the car. This is Elder Abuse. Salesman **** had no business selling a car to an elderly woman with Dementia. When I called him to speak to him about this unfair purchase, he wasn't available because I found out he doesn't even work there. I left a message to have him call me back but instead he called my Mother in law and got her really upset. I can't believe that this business can take advantage of the elderly like this and I don't think they should be conducting business like this. The Sales Manager ***** did nothing about this. If I were you, I would never buy a car from a business like this. I didn't want to leave any star at all but I was forced to put something in.
