My wife and I, both non-whites, had visited the Fields BMW dealership in ********** on the afternoon of March 5. We were cross-shopping the *** X5 and ******** GLE SUVs for a near term purchase. We spent several minutes looking over the vehicle. The dealership was quite empty, however, no salesperson approached us. We then saw a white customer walking in, and noticed he was quickly approached by a female staff member offering assistance.I have owned ***s for the last 15 years. This experience was deeply insulting and disappointing. I have filed a complaint with bmwusa customer relations to this effect.Review from Jeff M

My 23 year old daughter took her 2014 *** to Fields where they told her she has a leaking front strut that needs replacement They then informed her it would be $1600+ to replace it. My wife and I thought this was very expensive so we called ***** *** There we were told that was the cost of both struts being replaced not one. We then called Fields back and they confirmed it was the price for only one. We then called our local *** dealer in ** who said the price should be for both. Fields saw a young girl and totally tried to take advantage / rip her off. They should be ashamed of themselves and people should know what they tried to doReview from Beverly A

Wow, what an experience with the *************** I have a check engine light. I'm told it will cost $199.00 to run a diagnostic and this light usually is to due to an emissions pump that needs to be replaced and that my battery is old and may need to be replaced as well. If I complete the recommended service the $199.00 fee will be applied to the service. I receive a video from the technician that does not mention a needed emissions pump but does mention a battery replacement. I don't want to spend the $900.00 now to replace the emissions pump but asked if I can apply the $199.00 fee to have the battery replaced for $500.00 and was told "no" because that was not part of the diagnostic test. I challenged the rational and escalated it to management. Management told me that was the way it was and I could come and get my car that they did not want my business. I'll take my business elsewhere , thanks!
