Staff was so rude and unprofessional. Called the staff and they hung up on me. *******, another staff, and *** at Elgin Toyota in ** were highly unprofessional. I would NEVER do business with them.

I buy brainu Toyota tundra 2022 and this car is factory damaged. I bring back to the dealer to fix it several times and they don't Wanna do nothing They just told me you buy it You owned it even if I buy extra warranty and factory warranty. Very bad experience with this dealership

I visited Elgin Toyota 3/24/23. The dealer emailed me a price for a 2023 ***** prior to my visit and told me that the car was arriving in 6-8 weeks. They told me to come in and meet with a salesperson. I drove an hour to the dealership. They knew in advance I was using the ******************* which fixes the price and removes the hassle of bargaining. Upon my arrival, the salesman informed me that in order to get the car, I'd need to leave a $1000 NON-Refundable deposit and that I'd be required to add an additional $3,756.25 to the price for Resistall Protect and SWAT Recovery. I told the salesman that I didn't want either of these add-ons. The manager told me that I couldn't get the car without these add-ons. He said that I would need to wait 8 months for another Prius if I didn't purchase this car now. I feel that the $1,000 non-refundable deposit is illegal. Also, I should have been told about the required add-ons before I drove an hour to the dealership. I was appalled by the dishonesty of Elgin Toyota. Buyer beware of Elgin Toyota!

Was really upset. They waste your time. Offer a Internet price, then add junk add on costing $5000 plus another $299 hard coded into their documentation pricing. Classic bait and switch. I am making a complaint with BBB, ******** ************************ Toyota **************************** Relations and also passing this corporation to the Lawyers who sued and won a class action lawsuit against ************* group

Out of state purchaser attempting to buy a car. Elgin Toyota refused to accept a cashier's check from our credit union. The ************ they would accept were either cash (I don't carry $25,000 cash in my pocket) or finance through them. They ran a hard inquiry on my credit fraudulently.

In and out without a problem my sales men was *********************** he's very humble person ,talked to him over the phone told him what I'm looking for and budget,called me back later on and email me few vehicles they have that fits what I need came down road test them pick the one I like and deal was done and out I go

Elgin Toyota listed a vehicle on their website for $31,490. I called Elgin Toyota to make sure there were no other fees besides license, title, doc fee, and tax. I was traveling over an hour to see the car and I didnt want any surprises. I contacted Elgin Toyota and was assured that that was the price and there are no extra charges. I went to Elgin Toyota and I was told that there was a paint treatment, tracking device and extended warranty added to this vehicle and it would be an extra $4990. I let them know my displeasure and they said they could adjust the price a little but they could not do the Price on the website and the price that they had assured me of over the phone. Bought a car elsewhere and I will not recommend them nor will I buy from Elgin Toyota.

Bought a Sienna labeled as 8 seat in Feburary 2020 through ****************************** first we noticed there's no 8th seat in the car we drove home so I contacted *********** and he said he'll have the seat for me once I come back to deliver the second pair of keys of my trade-in. But when I went there I was told by his father *********************** Sr. that he failed to find the 8th seat for my model which should be a cloth seat while he can only find a leather one. He said he'll deliver the correct 8th seat to my address so I went home. But after one month nothing happened so I contacted ************ and he told me that he couldn't find the 8th seat and I have to come to the dealership to talk to the used car manager named ***** or something personally because he said he talked to the guy and got rejected and he tried to keep his job. But I was out of town for a while and cannot make it to the dealership and due to Covid I cannot take the risk. So things got held up and untill now I havn't received any calls or information from them yet. I have to mention that the posting did say it's an 8-seat passenger sienna! Really dissapointing experinece. They probably know there's no 8th seat on this car so they lied and kept fooling customers.
