      I had a small water leak that did some damage to a hardwood floor in March 2022 home again renovation said they would do the job for us and we filed with our insurance. My insurance company did not want to pay them for profit and overhead. I informed them that is what the insurance was paying them. I received an invoice of $1046.77 on 7/15/2022 for who knows what. I paid a deposit of 50% of this invoice. However, they said they would still do the job on 11/18/2022 with no more out of pocket cost to me sans my deductible. I was also informed in this same email that they would have a hardwood floor specialist contact me. However, this never happened. I contacted them numerous times and told them the type of hardwood flooring that they needed to replace and they sent me out to find the hardwood myself. I waited several weeks with no response about the flooring. I contacted them in June 2023 asking for my money back or the job to be finished. They said the price had increased. No way. Was told management would call me. Management called while I was at work. I returned his call 4 times over the space of 2 days, left messages with no response. Sent an email regarding the refund and contacting the BBB. This was the response I received refunds, typically take ninety days to process. You should be seeing it very soon. The job hit a standstill in November after the **** information was added to the estimate. Allstate should have paid the additional coverage for the flooring. If you look at your estimate from us, for the flooring, it says pending ****. There is no way this job could have been done, with supply, for under $2000. It is not uncommon for a homeowner to provide information and to shop for their own material. We are a general contracting form, not an interior designer. If you will recall, I did a lot of leg work with ******** Flooring to find your original product or the best possible match. This was a cutesy. We were only being paid to install the flooring not find it or source it. As stated back in November and in the email that I had forwarded to me this morning the cost of insurance consultation and the cost of the **** report will be deducted from the refund. My time and energy have been wasted since 2/23/2022, so I quite understand how you feel, ****************

      The company took $11,000.00 and failed to do the job. As of today it is doubtful that the company will return the money.
