This is the first time I'm writing to the BBB regarding a business. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago, and the Vet, *******************, gave a quick explanation on how to treat the disease and sent me home with written educational handouts re: cats and diabetes, as well as information re: the Free Style Libre sensor and reader which was necessary to obtain a glucose curve to determine the amount of insulin needed to control his disease. They could have saved me time, money, and the unnecessary stress which my cat was put through.Instead of prescribing Gabapentin initially because my cat was stressed, it took 2 visits before they did so. The first time they couldn't apply the sensor and when they finally prescribed the gabapentin and my cat was calm, instead of putting something on the sensor, my cat pulled it off. Meanwhile I had to pay for another sensor and visit. Next time, they applied the sensor and my cat kept it on but when I used the reader, it stated that it had already been scanned and my reader couldn't be used!I left a message and instead of telling me from the beginning, they now told me that instead of using the reader, I needed to use the app, of which there were many, and none of them worked.Instead of trying to help me, they stated that I didn't know how to use technology! They had no empathy, nor did they attempt to offer any solutions to the problems. As of now, my cat has still not received care to control his diabetes sufficiently. I'm very disappointed, and I feel as though I was strung along, just paying money to them! The Vet techs are great but I can't recommend the Vet, *******************. I hope this will provide some insight to others and that they will find a Vet that has their pet's interest at heart. *********************
