I am a disabled veteran quadriplegic since July 14th 2019. After 10 months of hospital treatment I was assigned to this health care provider. They are a franchise business and I have had issues with them since 01012020.I receive 3 hours per day hours for 7 days per week for activities, daily, living care for my horrific motorcycle accident. I have to depend ?? % on someone to help me with bathing/feeding/ and daily activities for a quadriplegic. My favorite thing is to be able to get in my chair and sit outside to not only enjoy the weather but socialize with the neighbors whom has became my friends. Secondly this agency has been paid in advance for my care by DSS. This is fraud when I don't receive the basic care from them. In the past year(s) I have went without proper care because they claimed to not have any employees to come and help me. Ex. Today 06/14th/2023 I didn't receive a caregiver. I am soiled in my diaper and I am stuck in my bed because of no caregiver today. This is a major travesty again and I am at the mercy of a company that doesn't fulfill the requirements of taking care of a disabled veteran person. I have spoken with my case worker and her supervisor before about the issue with the this company. I have to pay a caregiver to come and bathe and feed me.
