      On Thursday, July 11, I made an appointment online with Prestige Subaru of Asheville, NC, to test drive a used ***** CX-5 on Friday morning at 9:30. I also completed the online credit application. I was prepared to buy the car when my wife and I arrived to see and drive it. Surprisingly, not a single person had the slightest clue that we had made the appointment or completed the application. We were passed off to a salesman who knew nothing about us, the *****, or even where the car was located at that moment. After much searching, he informed us that the car was actually still at the ***** dealership. He said the car would be on the lot on July 16th or 17th and would I like to come back then. We said no, we would not like to come back and that we were very annoyed by this experience. A manager saw that we were unhappy about something, so he followed us out the door and asked what happened. We told him, and he said he was sorry. And that was that. No attempt to find out why this happened, why there was no record of our appointment even though Id gotten a confirmation email, no attempt to do anything to try to make things right. Really a terrible experience that I will be sharing with as many people as I can to warn them against using this dealership. By the way, we drove down to the ******* dealership a few blocks away where we were treated with respect and professionalism. We bought a new Tucson there.I noticed this morning that the ***** is still on the Prestige website as available for test drive and sale.

      In response. We apologize for the appointment confusion. Our dealership was involved in the cyberattack of our dealer management system, that took out ****** dealerships nationwide. For this reason our website tools were (some still), not able to have vision to appointments and in some cases the inventory feeds are not refreshing properly. This has caused numerous customer experience issues. We have done our best to try and overcome every obstacle. Unfortunately , **************** was caught up in it. Based on his purchase elsewhere, we were the ones that paid the ultimate price. Our reviews, national customer service standing with **********************, as well as our community outreach proves that we do business the right way. Unfortunately this cyberattack has been a tremendous obstacle to overcome. We appreciate all of our customers for their patience.

      I think most people come here to leave bad reviews and so you dont see the good ones. I had a major breakdown with my car outside of *********. Subaru was incredibly professional and honest. Ive been to many Subaru dealers in various states and would put Prestige and their level of service and ******************* of them. Even the ones I thought were the best.

      The service I received here in the past 6 months has been appalling. The part I needed to fix was never placed on backorder, parts were then ordered by my own insistence, ordered parts were received 2 days after placing the order and I was never contacted by the service or parts ****s. I then call again mid-May, the tags are expiring, the car will not pass inspection therefore I cannot pay for the tag renewal. I, as the customer, stated what it would take to make the situation right. The parts were never on backorder. The parts were then ordered, not by the service or parts ***** The parts then arrive but still remain there almost a month later. Enough. I stated that the mirror/parts/labor should be completed gratis. An oil change should also be completed gratis. The only service I would pay for would be the ******** Inspection. At first it was agreed upon however, I then stated my own personal opinion as the consumer in this situation. I stated that I would no longer be bringing my car to be serviced at their business. The person I spoke with then denied the previously agreed upon solution stating that, if I no longer wished to be a customer, then why should they even bother to try to make the situation better, or try to keep my business. I have since spoken with three other employees, both in the sales **** and service ***** Being bounced around from one to the other, who then disregard my calls and messages. Only to tell me NOW there are still parts on backorder.I am disgusted with the service I received and I stand by my original opinion. I choose to take my business elsewhere because this experience showed to me that my business does NOT matter to this business.
