Used Advanced Energy concepts for years. They did all my Heating and plumbing work in my house. No issues.

Terrible customer service, created giant messes, lied to me on multiple occasions. Will say anything to get the project, and not actually answer questions.When the came to give the quote I asked them where they would put the heat pump and I said behind the house but when they went to install it it wouldn't fit behind the house according to code.I constantly had to hound them to finish the job and started in the spring and then they didn't finish until the winter after saying they could start in 2 weeks. Left me without heat on below freezing days because they were not finished. Didn't honor parts of the contract. Charged for servicing even though the contract says it's free for 3 years.Tried to charge me for things they didn't install(humidifier). Installed the ventilation system over some sill rot. Left gaping holes in my home for months.I Had to hound them every step of the way to get them to do the next part of the project. They were replacing propane and oil with gas and didn't tell me I had to remove the propane to do so and then the town wouldn't permit there work and I had to pay out of pocket for more conversions. Had to hound them to get permits including oil tank removal permit which they never pulled and I still don't have!!! The end result was an expensive system that I think is mis configured and ill fitting for my home (does not remove humidity properly). If you'd like to do the project management yourself, hire this company.That said there was one very nice technician but I wouldn't have them install anything.

Needed a combuston chamber replacement and cleaning, was given an a 'non itemized invoice' for 581.00 (chamber) after some back and forth Manager finally gave me a breakdown, (hidden costs) Tech cleaned the boiler (180.00) same day, told him I had 'burner lockout' issues, says he 'fixed (the wiring....when I had an electrician look, one wire on the relay was loose and another was hanging, office has blocked my e-mails, left two messages,( nothing)........quick to 'grab' the money, but don't want the problems.....Stay Away !

Called for a service appointment on June 8th. Scheduled appointment between 3-5 pm. No show, no call. When I called to ask where the technician was very rudely told that because they where short staffed the technician was two service calls behind. If your running that late wouldn't you call and explain to your Customers and apologize instead I canceled Andy further appointment and called a different HVAC company. I'm a business owner myself and too wait around for two hours and never get a notification is TERRIBLE service. My time is money if you want my money show up on time.
