BBB promotes truth in advertising by contacting advertisers whose claims conflict with the BBB Code of Advertising. These claims come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints, and competitor challenges. BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers clearer to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements. On February 7, 2024, BBB contacted Nimbus Healthcare regarding advertised claims on their website, https://www.nimbushealthcare.com/ and on Nimbus Healthcare Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of nimbushealthcare.com | 2 of 4 (trustpilot.com). Nimbus Healthcare advertises claimed results including, "Alpha Female is our powerful blend of nine synergistic ingredients designed to help support healthy hormone metabolism in women. Additionally, the select ingredients in this formula have been proven clinically effective in supporting sexual health and energy, promoting healthy cortisol levels and providing dopamine support."; "DHEA An effective combination therapy to help reduce weight, maintain muscle, and improve sex."; "Nimbus has developed an innovative way to test your hormone levels and create personalized treatment plans to help you reach new goals or simply feel better in your skin, all at an affordable price."; "Alpha Male X is our powerful blend of eight synergistic ingredients designed to help support male health. Additionally, the select ingredients in this formula have been proven clinically effective in supporting sexual health and energy as well as supporting healthy cortisol and dopamine levels."; and "90% satisfaction with our easy home test kits." BBB Code of Advertising states, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data substantiating their services and claims of their specific products or discontinue any statements claiming results. BBB requested Nimbus Healthcare provide any evidence including but not limited to studies from recent testing or other objective data substantiating their services and claims of their specific products or discontinue any statements claiming results. Objective Superlative Claims: Nimbus Healthcare advertises "Nimbus is the first digitally native, fully verticalized multi-condition health platform, providing treatment backed by scientific experts, board-certified physicians and proven methods." BBB Code of Advertising states, that superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests. BBB requested Nimbus Healthcare provide actual supporting data to prove all statements in their advertising. Nimbus Healthcare advertises testimonials from customers advertising specific results. BBB Code of Advertising states, advertising that uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if a consumer's experience represented in an advertisement is not the typical experience of those using the product or service unless the advertisement clearly and conspicuously discloses what the expected results will be. Furthermore, testimonials may only be used if they're representative of the common experience of consumers of the business's products/services. Businesses must be able to substantiate that it is not only a possible outcome, but rather a common result. BBB requested Nimbus Healthcare disclose what the typical result would be and provide substantiation of the result with objective, competent, and reliable scientific evidence. As of May 30, 2024, Nimbus Healthcare failed to respond to BBB's request to substantiate or discontinue the advertised claims.
