Contract Signed on October 15, 2000. I am writing to file a formal complaint against Texas Solar regarding their solar panel system and associated services. I am deeply dissatisfied with the product and the financial impact it has had on my household.1. Misrepresentation of Savings:When we were sold the ***** kW solar system, we were assured of significant savings on our electric bills. The company promised that the system would substantially reduce our energy costs. However, over the past six months, our actual savings amount to only $85.87, which is far below the anticipated savings and does not align with the company's promises. We were told the system would pay for itself annually. We currently pay $240 a month on the financial terms of the solar system. 2. Financial Impact and Cost Discrepancies:The financing terms provided by Texas Solar have resulted in additional financial burdens. We are now effectively paying two electric bills one for our traditional utility provider and another as part of the financing for the solar panel system. The costs associated with the solar panel financing have exceeded the savings generated, creating a financial strain.3. Lack of Performance and Customer Support:Despite attempts to address these issues with Texas Solar, their responses have been inadequate, and they have not provided effective solutions or compensation for the discrepancies. Given these concerns, I am seeking the following resolutions:- A thorough review of the solar panel system's performance to determine why it is not delivering the promised savings.- A reassessment of the financing terms to address the financial imbalance created by the solar panel system.- Compensation for the discrepancy between the promised and actual savings, as well as any additional costs incurred due to the system's poor performance.
