14 months to install a new roof and an aluminum patio cover kit. there have been 6-8 Appointments made where they failed to show up 5 attempts to install patio correctly. 1st they used inferior cheap materials. ****** came out and said that it was not acceptable and was not what he had discussed with his contractor. 2nd their contractor failed to install correctly, 3rd attempt the contractors wife showed up sat in front of our house for 30 minutes and then said one of the crew wasnt able to show up so they would have to reschedule. 4th time, Installed 3 aluminum panels and said they could not install because they had previously screwed randomly in the panels and there was holes In the remaining panels and the patio would leak. 5th patio was almost completed, flashing was inferior materials and not secured. Gutters where not installed. TDR continually sends the same contractors who do shoddy work, they have broken our landscape lights, water fountain, grandkids picnic table and hanging candle holder. They told us they only use their in-house contractors when in fact they use subcontractors . Texas Direct Roofing called and emailed trying to collect payment, saying we havent paid, providing a fraudulent backdated invoice from January the patio had still not been installed at time of invoice. March 25, ***** we get a text saying **** will be by at 2pm to fix the flashing. We texted TDR right back; out of town and for them to call ****** we rescheduled for Tuesday. While we were out of town, they sent their contractor. The contractor incorrectly installed a different color shingle on two rows of our roof. The shingles do not lay down flat, he damaged 7 panels of our newly installed patio. flashing from patio and roofing is inferior materials, and is not properly adhered. shingle pieces and nails left in our yard and roof. TDR was dishonest telling us that our insurance company did not allow for a complete patio system. TDR did not remove and install drip edge.
