This was my third move with Come And Take It and they did an incredible job! My moving team -- *****, ******, ****, and **** -- were awesome about communicating and super accommodating. I was moving from a 4th-floor apartment into a house, and they still finished sooner than expected even with the broken elevators in my old apartment building. Come And Take It has been amazing during every move I've had the last few years, and are the go-to moving company in my family.Review from Miguel L

I had 25yrs of stuff to move, all of which were handled with great care! I would recommend them to anyone who is a worrier, is anxious and/or frets over their belongings-which most of us are. ***** were ********* & efficient in spite of their exhaustion. I can't say enough about Come and Take it Moving. It all started with a few minute conversation with *******. He made me feel so comfortable and felt like I was talking to a friend. He is very passionate about what he does and really paid attention to my concerns, needs and feelings. Once booked I called multiple times with questions and he helped me every step of the way.The day before the move ***** called to confirm the time my moving day, and again with a few minute conversation, I felt like I was talking to friend. ************************ and ***** arrived on moving day on time and ready to work. They were so polite and professional. ***** actually helped my roommate move out the week before so he was familiar with everything.************************ and ***** were such a great team and loved their interaction with each other. They all knew what they had to do.They all had such great personalities and we had great conversations throughout the move. Moving is so stressful and they new how step in to ease some of that stress.After moving me out of my ****** house they did the long haul to ******* to move my boyfriend from his apartment. They powered through the looonnngggg day and I didn't hear one complaint out of any of them. We had so much fun actually.The following day they moved us into our new home in **********. They were so efficient and fast. I really hated to be done because we really enjoyed being around them, but they did need to get home to their families.If I ever decide to move again, I would use them in a heart beat. All our belongings we well wrapped, protected, transported, delivered and assembled. Besides the material things they protected my peace of mind.Come and Take It, ****, *****, ****** and *****. I have never felt the need to write a negative review on a company until today. This company showed up 3 hours late to start my move. I booked it for a specific day and time because that was what fit into my schedule. By the time they let me know they were getting on the road. They were already on track to be 2 hours late. While booking my move, I explained that I had several fragile items including a big green egg. I said I was reluctant to have them move it and would move it myself because of the sheer cost of the item and how fragile it was. They stated that they would take care of the egg for an extra $150, and that I would not have to worry about it. Despite all this, I provided full payment and a tip to the movers. When they loaded it, they did not take out any of the internal pieces. They rolled it into the truck and put a blanket on the outside. A few days later while finishing unpacking, I found that the ceramic heat deflector broke. The piece is $80. I filed a claim on the piece and they rejected the claim stating that their policy says they dont insure big green eggs. They were extremely misleading and charged extra money to move a fragile item, knowing very well that they had no intention of replacing it if it got broken. I didnt even ask for a full refund on the $150. I just wanted my part replaced.Come and Take It Moving Response

Although we put forth every effort towards the safe transport of all items, Come and Take It Moving cannot not assume liability for nor insure the transport of pressed wood/particle board, wicker items, televisions transported outside of original box, or pottery/ceramic items, statuary, including green egg BBQs. You acknowledged that you received and read these instructions prior to your move as noted by your signature on your contract at the time of your move. You made the personal choice to proceed and have your crew members transport the item, in full knowledge that it would not be covered in the event of damage. As always, we put forth every effort towards the safe transport of all items however as this information was communicated prior to your move taking place your claim was denied. Additionally, Your feedback was passed along to your crew members and they have chosen to replace the part out of their tip.Review from Bill B.
