This is by far the most misleading moving company I have dealt with. I called them because their brochure was in the welcoming package of the new Apartment I was moving to. Spoke to someone who advised since I got a referral from the Apartment complex Im moving to he was going to give me a great deal, their regular hourly rate is around $300 but they were going to bring it down to $189.50, which I accept. We scheduled the moving to November 14th 2023, provided my addresses and information. When the movers arrived on Nov. 14th, three guys showed up and one of them went over the charges, which were Trip Charge of $189.50, plus $189.50 hourly and he mentioned a ************ charge, which I was never advised on. At that moment I called their office to ask why wasn't I advised of the ************ charge when I scheduled the services and of course their response was "Almost every moving company has that charge" "the person who scheduled your moving is one of the best representatives we have and he always advises on that fee". At that moment my I didn't have many options because I had to move that day. The Moving took effect and when the person hands me the receipt the total was $985.39 for 3 hrs and a few mins, when I reviewed the received, they added Shrink Wrap fee (which I understand), they also added a processing time fee (for the time spend filling out paperwork/printing the receipt) and 3.5% electronic transaction fee (around $35), none of those extra fees were disclosed when scheduling the move. I have moved 3 times in the past 5 years (Careful Movers, 2 Men one Truck) and those companies do not have any of those additional charges. I felt lied to and when I called the Moving company to express my situation, no one was able to assist, until I called a 3rd time and a gentleman told me he will file a reimbursement for extra time spent filling out papers work/printing the receipt, but the reimbursement never took effect.

Worst moving experience of my life. Unfortunately, *** had the displeasure of moving 6 times in the last 10 years. Moving isnt fun, but this was by far the worst. No moving ********************** is perfect, but its how they handle the problems that determines what they represent as a **********************. Accidents happen and some damages occur. In my past experiences, two other local moving companies made good on damages found and reported after the move. This move involved a lot of damages that the ********************** is refusing to address. Upon completion of a move, THE Moving Companys driver hands you a feedback form and stands there staring at you while you fill it out. On it are questions about how the crew performed, even so specific as to break down the rating to driver and helpers. Then theres a place to list damages and, when I started writing in that area, the driver got a panicked look on his face and asked what they damaged. As if they didnt already know. One whole end of a dresser is scratched to **** and one of its trim boards on the front was busted. This dresser survived 5 other moves without issue. Another incident is when one of the helpers ran a piece of my entertainment center into a wall on the stairs, only saying oops. Then, on his next trip into the house, with another piece of the same entertainment center and balancing his phone on his shoulder for a really important phone call, hits the wall again. He told the person on the other end that hed call them back and looked at me watching the whole thing as he slid his phone back into his pocket. It wasnt until I mentioned some missing pieces of an antique bed that they went back through the truck and found them. Later that evening I went upstairs to find pieces of my entertainment center still wrapped and others strewn about the room, along with some of their trash from unwrapping a few items. Several days later I got around to assembling the entertainment center, which included putting the doors back on. Every single one of them was scratched because of the way they were wrapped (before and after photos in the album linked below). On top of everything else, when I was arranging my desk in my home office this evening, it almost came apartone of the bolts on the legs wasnt even **** in after they reassembled it. Multiple attempts to come to an amicable conclusion with this ********************** have failed. Their signature response is that we had their best, most experienced team. I really fear for those who get their other teams because this team was horrible. Anything not written on their famous feedback form (the one you were expected to complete with the man staring at you) will not be covered. Even though I had written that the dresser was damaged and several walls were damaged, its not covered because I was too vague. Im leaving the door open for them to change their tune and *** be reasonable, I just want them to be reasonable too.************************************************************
