    I hired MovePros to help me move on June 16th, 2023. I was going from a 1 bed apartment to a 2 bed, 2.4 miles down the road. Two men showed up, one was very unprofessional, lazy and obviously did not want to be there. He complained nearly the entire time and seemed quite inexperienced on the job, especially trying to use a ******. They ran most of my larger items into the frame of the front door and my things were brought down the flight of stairs carelessly. (There was a lot of banging and booming to be heard.) I've hired a few moving companies previously in *********** and never had an experience like this. In total, it took MovePros five hours to finish the job- even with my little bit of help. Over the next couple days I began noticing damages to my furniture and my washing machine was now leaking water on the floor when in use. I contacted MovePros to make them aware of the situation and this is where my main problem begins. My initial point of contact was *****, I did not know at the time she was the owner. This time around, i could not get a response from her in regard to my issue(s). She ignored my phone calls, voice messages and emails. When she finally responded she was rude, called me a liar and said she'd get back to me but never did. I had to keep pursuing this because she apparently couldn't be bothered with it. *********************** was/is 100% completely disrespectful, her customer service is nonexistent and she has been trying to intimidate me since I made my complaint in regard to damages her company did to my items. On one of the few phone calls she told me to go f*ck myself and hung up because I wasnt backing down from her bullying.... Out of nowhere on August 2nd she sent me a email with a settlement offer. It ignored half of the items that I had sent pictures showing damages and had the wrong date of service on it. I promptly rejected the offer and have not heard from her or anyone from her company since.

    I inquired on internet for a moving company quote to move me less than a mile away. ***** called me on a Sunday to provide a hourly quote. She called at least 3 more times to inform me of appointment and arrival. My husband and I had packed up everything and I confirmed with this office that they do washer set up. The two men arrived late and when I mentioned I was told they would be here at 8:30am ***** said well we were told 9. He comes in and says wow, you all are really ready to go . He tells me that I need to sign form before they can move anything which was my mistake. BEWARE of contract. The other young man goes into bedroom to begin to take bed down. ***** was moving boxes. 90% of the boxes were placed in living room closest to door. The last moving company we used moved us from a 2nd story two bedroom to a one bedroom. This company was moving us from a 2nd story one bedroom to first floor. So after 1 hr ***** had not even moved 10% of the boxes. My husband and I noticed he was moving extremely slow. So my husband began to move boxes downstairs in our reserve parking spot since we were being charged hourly. Long story short it took them over 3.5 hours to move the few items from our apartment that was already packed up. They finally got to apartment and I asked if they had gotten our washer and dryer and the young man said he didnt think so. He asked ***** to go go back to get and ***** began cussing in hall way and telling me he would have to charge me. I asked him to please stop unloading and go pick up, but he refused and continued to unload. He even said Im starting to get really ****** off. I just thought this was so unprofessional. The other young man was very courteous. So they returned with my husband to get washer and dryer and dropped my washer from 2nd story and damaged it. A $600 washer was damaged bc movers failed to strap while moving. My husband returns to apartment to inform me that they damaged our new washer. ***** said she had a man that comes out to fix, I said how can he knock all the dents as I am crying. Of course no one ever came and I had to file small claim to get this business to respond. I immediately called to report and claim and ***** who called excessively prior to move would not return my call. They charged me over $525 for move damaged my washer and in the end I was out over $1200 in the end. The judge told me that I should negotiate fair market value for damages prior to signing their contract. In the end I ended up $80 . Then I read reviews on this business and I can just kick myself many of reviews sounded like my experience of feeling like company milked the clock and customers. Many reporting damaged property and ***** refusing to address problems and concerns afterwards. ****** learned never use a business that is not accredited. I have used four moving companies and by far this is the only one that was a nightmare from beginning to end. Consumers if you value your belongings then use an accredited company.
