    Date of Occurrence 3/2/24-D&D Moving moved us from ***************, ***** to ****, *****. We had a coffee table scratched and they chipped our front door and door frame on the home in ****. They force whoever is a warm body after they unload the truck to sign their paperwork so they can leave. In this case it was my 81 year old mother. It saddens me they trick an 81 year old woman into signing off on their paperwork. I am the one who paid them and I was not asked to sign anything. I don't understand how they can be released from any damages since none of the furniture has been unwrapped yet. After discussing the issues and sending photos with ****** she informed me my claim couldn't be worked on until they were paid. This is a ploy so they can tell you to f*** off after they have your money. I paid them in good faith (shame on me). On 3/5/24 they informed me there was nothing stating any damage on their paperwork and furthermore our deductible is conveniently more than what they assessed the damages at. Their workers are the ones who showed my mother the damage to the door and frame admitting they hit it. We didn't find the scratch on the coffee table until after they were gone (the same day) and we unwrapped it. Another item they failed to disclose is the transaction fee if you pay by credit card. ****** surprised me with this one when I called her to make payment. This company does not act in good faith and they should be held accountable by the community. They are nice as can be until they are done and then you are left holding the bag.

    I have used many movers in the past but this company is the most unprofessional, careless and insensitive of them all. They packed our things with little regard and when they opened the triailer, our glass table top was shattered to pieces, expensive furniture damaged, glassware broken. They lost or stole our antique fan and griddle and a large roll of bubble wrap. It took us over three months to get them to honor our claim with a insulting low payment and no responsibility for the items missing. We contacted them over and over all those months, to be stalled and played games with. They obviously had hoped we would tire of it and give up without compensation to us. I ended up in the hospital with a heart attack over this stress!To think, my husband and I offered these servicemen drinks and a wash in our hot tub and this is how we were treated?Please do not use these movers and storage people, for they do not appreciate the customers who give them a living! They not only break and lose things, theyliterally break your heart. We cherish our possessions and these people treat them with indifference.

    This customer filed a claim with us on 10/10/2023 and was given a settlement offer on 10/16/2023, that was offered signed & accepted and received by us on 10/17/2023 (today) and a check has been mailed out to the customer.

    The customer claims that they sent in the claim previously however we believe they texted it to a wrong number, instead of email or postal mail, however when we received it we acted immediately to it which by law we did not have to because it was received after the 90th day of delivery.

    We did everything we could in this situation.
