I booked two rooms for my family in ****, ***** for a family birthday party. My original date was changed when I call reservations to change the date from 23 of June to 24 June checking out on 26 June 2022. I explained to the person answering the phone that I had military ID, as well as state and triple A. The rate that I was given was what I thought because of my military ID. Enroute to the Hotel the ** called me and asked if we were on orders. I told her no, she said we had the wrong rate which was no fault of mine. At this time I have no choice but to take the rooms. I asked if the price could not lowered because of my triple A card. She lowered both rooms a little. We arrive at the hotel, and noticed in the first room that it was not the room that I asked for, separated one bedroom suite. I asked the front desk guy and he informed me that a lot of rooms were out of order due to maintenance. I complained about the smell of mold in both rooms. The next morning my kids in the second room complain of mold, no hot water in shower, no towels when asked for towels they were told there were none. They went to store to purchase towels. My room toilet was dirty, smell of mold, falling ironing board, tub water not draining causing a back ** in tub wile showering. When I spoke with the ** she told me the toilet was not dirty, It I sprayed cleaner on it and some of the grime came off. She said she would send someone there to unplug tub but it never happened. I would like some of my money back. I will not use Holiday Inn again will simply return to Marriot.
