      I stayed at a hotel within the Choice Hotels group. I messaged Choice Hotels with a complaint. Choice Hotels decided to give me a return of $75. I was supposed to receive an email with how I would like to receive my return (Zelle or check). If I selected nothing Choice Hotels was supposed to give me my return with a check. I told Choice Hotels I did not want them to send me any money through Zelle. Choice Hotels did that. I told them I never received an email as promised and was supposed to then receive a check because of their error. After many messages back and forth I've discovered they lied and just kept getting a run around

      Rodeway Inn at ******************************************************************************************* Reservations were made online through AARP link to Rodeway Inn Discounts for 11/11/2022 to 11/12/2022.Very rude service. There was communication/language barriers it seemed. We showed our confirmation number and they proceeded to try to get my son *********************** to run his card because they felt he hadn't paid. It was obvious by the confirmation number that he had paid. Then they said what about incidentals? We would have been okay on incidentals alone. But the employees acting like we hadn't paid anything seemed as though they were out to get additional money. They seemed to like to jip people. We called headquarters to request a refund and was refused. This inconvenienced us because we didn't get to use the room and had to find another place to stay for the night. There needs to be better training on relating to customers at this location. We still feel we should be returned our money of $100.68.       DO NOT book a reservation with Choice hotels. We booked a stay at the *********************** in ***********, **. We reserved two rooms for one night so we could visit ************ in the dark during Halloween. One room had no shower curtain and the other had hair all over the pillow cases. In my eight year old nieces bed, we found a small blue pill. Clearly, the sheets had not been changed. We googled the number on the pill and it was a sleeping pill. This is completely unacceptable! I brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk and she was very apologetic but said I would have to speak to the general manager. The general manager agreed to reimburse me $50 for the room. Since it was a direct book through Choice, the money was sent to them and they refused to give me the money back on my credit card. Every time I would call choice I would get the run around and they would hang up on me. The customer service agents at ********************** corporate are extremely rude and completely useless.

      Sleep Inn Canceled our Priceline Reservation!We booked a hotel with Priceline months in advance for the Formula 1 races in ******, ** - We got the SleepInn in **********, **. We printed out all confirmation info. and had it on our phones & even received a "time to check in" reminder from Priceline! When we got to the hotel (Sleep Inn) day before the race we were told they had no reservation with for us and no rooms available(We had 2 rooms booked with them!!!) - We showed them the confirmation information and they would not accept it saying it was with Priceline. We called Priceline and they called the hotel - still would not honor reservation - after many hours on the phone back and forth with customer service Priceline was not able to find us another hotel room anywhere & we were in ****** for the races without a place to stay! Priceline refunded our money for the hotel - We had to spend hours calling hotels/motels ourselves and ended up staying in **********, ** paying $394 per night/per room for a Holiday Inn! We were not compensated by Sleep Inn nor Priceline. ALWAYS BOOK HOTEL ROOMS DIRECTLY WITH THE ******* AND CALL HOTEL TO CONFIRM BEFORE YOU LEAVE ON YOUR TRIP. DO NOT TRUST PRICELINE! - Bottom-line we found out is that hotels do not have to honor Priceline reservations!
