I purchased my home from Omega Builders in June 2021. Before closing, I had a home inspection done which came back with 80+ actionable items. I even had to tell Omega that the blueprints were reversed, they forgot to build a wall, alcohol containers all over worksite, missing shelves in pantry, etc. I have had many warranty repairs done for poor workmanship, many of which were done improperly, which resulted in multiple visits to address the same issue, some of which remain unrepaired to this day. In Dec 2021, I had my flooring replaced with an upgraded flooring because the existing was known to be defective at time of installation. That very day, I brought up some concerns on the new flooring. Here we are 8-8.5 months later, and I have a backlog of warranty issues, with no actual work done. My questions are ignored for weeks and months. I have had to climb the chain of command to the owner just to get some attention to my case. Unfortunately, that was a short lived spotlight and it is back to being ignored. My flooring is peaking at the seams and is a cut hazard for my 1-year-old running around the house. My cabinets are pending repairs from before we closed on the house. My wife and I have lost hours at work for inspections and repairs. Lost wages alone are in the thousands. And I am now awaiting another floor replacement that will displace me from my home (and my wife's home office) for 6+ days. I had a home energy audit done that exposed several areas of sub-par workmanship and negligence. One of Omega's subcontractors damaged my AC condenser and I am told that it was inspected and nothing is wrong with it, even though there is no inspection report to back that up. Omega will do nothing to fix it. Even though the house is higher quality than some of the competitors, the warranty headache, Omega's agents blatantly lying to me, and refusal from Omega to make things right directly negate all the love I had for the house initially.
