When my windows would fog up, I called, they came out and measured for a replacement. Only about 1% of the glass would fog up within the 5 year warranty period. The date code of each window is stamped between the panes and has always been checked by the installer. I recently had one window fog up that was within warranty. It was installed 4 years ago so it was within warranty. A receptionist later called to tell me there is no date codes in the window and I would need to prove that the window was replaced by them by showing an invoice. This has never happened before. I have always had great relations with American Glass until now. An installer would come out, look at the date code and replace the window.I asked another company to come out to measure and replace the window. The other company verified the date code, but I still had to pay $200 for glass because it was a different company.
