I paid my deposit to Ivy Group 2 years ago. Nothing has been done at all for my ****************, no even ******** was out of state last year to help care for my mother in hospice, but I immediately informed him I was ready to start up when I returned last fall. Since then, we've only had 1 meeting and the rest were no-shows. It was excuse after excuse for why the project wasn't moving along. He never called me, I was always having to chase him and find out why he didn't show up for a scheduled meeting. Do not use Ivy Group or James Ivy for your remodeling project. He is not trustworthy.

James and his team did a great job remodeling both of my bathrooms. They were professional, creative and lovely.

We used the Ivy Group for repairs due to damage from lightning. Our walls had to be redone after being ripped apart from a bad gas from the lightning. He repaired our ceiling in the kitchen after a major roof leak from the storm. You absolutely cannot tell at all that there had been damage done. The workers were quick and professional. He also moved a light fixture that was never centered correctly in the kitchen at the same time. His pricing was very reasonable and the work was outstanding!!

I have been a customer of ********************** Ivy for many years and in the past they have provided good service and I have recommended them to multiple friends and colleagues.Having said that, I was confident in hiring them for a small bathroom renovation and making payment in full September 29, 2021. To date (6/9/2023), this job has not been completed. Their communication was terrible, sometimes nonexistent, and never timely. Plus there was a new excuse given every time. The demo finally took place June 2022 (day 258 after payment) . The next time anything was done was January 2023 when they sent plumbers out (day 475).Bits and pieces were done March, April and May 2023. By June 1, 2023 (day 610) the job was still not complete. I was so fed up with the service I received that I requested a refund for work not completed to be used to hire other contractors. I had also engaged an attorney in the event that the refund was not issued. Refund received 6/9/2023 (day 618).Contractors were complaining that they were not being paid, I have two friends that I had referred and their work has either not been completed or has not started.I would NEVER hire them again nor would I refer them to my worst enemy.

James and his crew did a fabulous job with a room update, arrangement, painting, fabric ****************. Loved the blend of creativeness and practicality in his suggestions. Great team!
