*************** initial estimate he showed up with his crew ready to work before he gave me his estimate. He explained he was going to power wash, level, stain driveway and cement area front and back. Started on March 27, 2023. According to ****** he was completed on 3/30/23. The work performed is not of a professional it is peeling off and the leveling was not conducted correctly, the stain is already peeling. I showed him the flaws but he has been very persistent and wants me to pay the other half when the contract says it will be paid when fully completed to my satisfaction. I have tried to communicate with him but now he does not answer calls as of 3/31/23. I will never recommend *********************. ******************* referred him to us. Dont know why ******************* would not take the job I trust them more.

Be sure to get estimates and do not give down payment because very likely it will not be returned. I realized that $10,00 for exterior paint on house, that is approx. 3/4 stone, the rest wood, was too much for amount of work. He requested $3,500 down payment and I paid it. I cancelled the same day I signed invoice. Work that had begun was approx. $300 according to a licensed contractor. He has yet to meet with me. He did not show or call the day he said he and his son-in-law would meet with me to discuss this matter. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Grade D- !*** NO RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS CONTRACTOR! *** On June 16, 2021, I was contacted by ********************* of A's Masonry and Remodeling to paint some doors, gutters, facia boards, soffits and to tuck point some mortar cracks in my natural rock walls. He promised everything you would want to hear but then he did not do what he promised. I had checked BBB and there were scant reviews with only 1 being extremely negative so I agreed to let him do the job. Except for 4 minor punch list items still remaining today, they finally largely finished the job this Thursday, July 15. Who knows when or if the remaining items will get done?Except for the week before last when it rained every day, they would generally only work 2 or 3 hours and then take off after arriving late in the morning and not having all their tools and equipment or manpower ready to begin working. The work they did they had to redo 3 and 4 times because of such poor quality. Sometimes they would not show at all and rarely called or return my calls to inform me of their intentions. After much frustration and delay, I had to get on them like a Drill Sergeant and watch every move they made to get things done in a passable fashion. I am particular but not unreasonable.

I am pleased to recommend Nick A*****, of A's Masonry, for any remodeling, repair or new build. He has helped us when our home was hit by a tornado in 2017 and also with the February 2021 freeze damage we incurred. He is a man of great integrity, discipline and diligence and always comes through with his promises. He and his crew do excellent work and I hold him in the highest regard. Bonnie D****
