      When I got my car, the dealership said that if I were to get the **** system and my car were stolen, I would be reimbursed for the cost of the installation. After my car was stolen, I reported it to the police and ****. After 2 weeks of not having my car be found, I called to try and get the reimbursement. Since they sent one gps ping to the cops that did not help in tracking it down, that made them not have to pay the reimbursement. ********************* on this. Obviously, it doesnt really help the police in tracking your car down. **************** when reporting the car stolen was also very rude, as if I was putting them out by reporting the stolen vehicle.

      Like everyone else I purchased a "lifetime" agreement as long as I owned my new car. As of June 1st account locked out because I refuse to pay additional cost for a new 4/5G transmitter plus have to pay to have old one removed and replace with new unit. Total scam in my opinion. Not sure why they still exist as a company. It's a no win situation for many that have this antiquated system. It's a total waste of time calling and trying to negotiate something with them as it does not do any good.

      I purchased a lifetime warranty with Guidepoint for $700. I tried to login but couldnt. So I call Guidepoint to get help. Guidepoint told me I needed to upgrade my equipment for $500 for it to continue to work. Is this legal ? This will be the second time Guidepoint said I had to update my equipment. Guidepoint is the largest scam and worst customer service I have ever dealt with. What can be done to Guidepoint to make them honor their lifetime warranty ? Now my car has equipment that doesnt work and if nothing else. I would like Guidepoint to remove their equipment at their cost and put my car back to original equipment with no spliced wires. But I have a feeling that Guidepoint will try to get money out of me for whatever reason Guidepoint can come up with and not fix the problem. DO NOT PURCHASE GUIDEPOINT IT IS A SCAM !!!!

      I bought my first system from this company in late 2017 or early 2018. From then until mid 2019, I purchased 4 more complete systems with their 'lifetime service'. I had 5 total. Each one was over $1000.00. They have now cut off my service and say that I need to purchase new hardware. They want another $2000.00 just to keep my 'lifetime service agreement' valid. Why has no-one started a class-action about this?

      I purchased a GuidePoint VIP-Plus-LT system with a new car. This company stated that the service would be for a lifetime, or as long as I owned the car. Now they are running the scam that I no longer will be able to use their service unless I pay another $499.00 to upgrade from 3G to 5G. That doesn't sound like lifetime service to me. Nor do I think a lawyer would agree. Class action suit coming.

      Should be no stars. These folks are rip off artists deluxe. They sell you a "lifetime service" package,then, later tell you you need to pay another fee, equal to or greater than the original "lifetime" service charge. They try to force you to upgrade OR they shut down your service. In my opinion Guidepoint Systems is the definition of SCAM ARTISTS.

      I purchased the system in 2019 & got the lifetime option. Today I was going to log into my account only to find guidepoint systems closed it. I found out today the system THEY installed was 3G & would no longer work. They told me I could spend another 600 dollars to get either a 4 or 5G system. I told them I wasn't going to pay ********* should give me a refund, **** (customer service) told me NO.I feel like they scammed many customers like myself as we paid 700 dollars for a lifetime customer. They knew back in 2019 & before that 4 & 5G were coming as it was already available. I'm hoping someone files a class action suit against this company.

      Mopar EVTS guide point systems worst company ever do not purchase this! I purchased the lifetime program which in their words doesnt mean lifetime it only means until the system needs to be upgraded then you are responsible for paying the hundreds of dollars for a new system so that you can use your previously purchased lifetime system!!! SCAM. They say the fine print states this My fine print doesnt state this I never signed some thing that would allude to the fact that lifetime wasnt lifetime.

      Paid for a lifetime service, which they say was still in effect, but they phased out the 3G hardware and upgraded to 4/5G hardware and wanted me to pay $450 for the new hardware. Why do I have to pay for something when I'm already paying for lifetime service? So now I've forfeited what I paid for the lifetime service because I don't want to pay $450 for them to upgrade the *** hardware system.

      The type of company that sells you a lifetime product/service knowing they will discontinue their product's functionality and ask you for another large sum of money. They also promise 24 hr customer and concierge service. Also once subscribed they discontinue the ability to reach a live person, instead ask you to leave a message and eventually someone may call you back. How exactly does that help when you're calling for an immediate need.... It does not. They've promised and sold a service they did not deliver. Would not recommend this service / company to anyone.
