      weve looked at the apartments two months before moving in. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! an hour and 20 minutes before moving in they told us that the tubs were not done and that the carpets werent cleaned We come in here and theres paint ripped off the boards, doors that wont close properly, granite had shifted from the foundation, paint on the windows, place was dirty and baby roaches everywhere. when I talked to the manager and told her about the issues when we moved in she got defensive and hostile and her only response was, well do you just wanna move out? NO i want it fixed and i want what we were promised they said theyd fix it, dates were given.. they changed the dates- n when they came the job was half-assed. They said theyd give us a credit.. they didnt. They never came to clean the carpets. We had to hire a professional. The contractors they hired only took care of one of the bathrooms, when they were supposed to do both. we were out of the house for at least 6 to 8 hours we came home and it reeked.

      This business acts fairly sticking to written and signed policies, and ensuring theyre enforced. I enjoyed my three years living there.

      The worst apartments I have ever lived at! The lady that works at the office, ***** is extremely rude, condescending, and has no intention of giving any sort of customer service what so ever.2 weeks ago I notified her that there was a leak in my bathroom (1st floor apt) coming from the apartment on top. She said she notified maintenance and that they were on their way. They never showed up.Today (4/29/23) I went to the office to notify her that another leak appeared on the Kitchen ceiling. She was very rude and said that I needed to put in a work order. I have put in 2 work orders and nothing happens. She said that on their end it does not show. Went back 30 min later to show her a video of how on my end the website does not let me submit anymore work orders. As usual, the office was closed during business hours and no one picks up the phone. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

      Worst property management in the ten years I've been on this property! And I still have my paper leases from when this was the called the Claremore. I have been waiting 10 Months to have my bath tube fixed. I did not call in this repair the person below me did. My bath tube has a crack in the bottom and started leaking water. I was told not to use it and someone would be out to get an estimate for it to be fixed. 10 months later no one has ever come out. I was told they do maintenance requests in order of IMPORTANCE. For 10 months we've been paying to live in a 2 bed 2 bath and have not had full access to one bathroom because it's NOT IMPORTANT.However the pull cord to our ceiling fan that is 10 years old broke and the apartment complex is going to charge us ******, because **** the property manager says this is not normal wear tear. And its not jer job to know what the state of the utilizes are in my apartment. Are you joking. The repair hasn't been done but **** has already charged our account.If you need something and they can not make an extra buck off you then its NOT IMPORTANT to them.ONE MORE BIG THING THAT THIS PROPERTY KNOWS ABOUT ARE THE FAULTY WINDOWS.We have one in our apartment. If it is not latched all the way. It will slowly slide open. In our building last year a little girl on the third floor fell out of her window. We know this from first hand account.My complex portal access being taken away. I contact the office 5 times. The last time I spoke with someone she told me I was doing it incorrectly. To which I said that is not true. It was sent to me already filled. I just needed to make a username and password. To which she told me I could come to the office so she could show me how to do it correctly. When I arrived **** declined to help me and the assistant property manager helped me. It was not working for her either, we tried 6 or 7 times until we finally got it fixed after about 30 minutes of her repeatedly trying different.

      I have yet to hear back from the leasing office staff of Sonterra Heights. I have yet to hear back from any staff employed by *******************, the management company of Sonterra Heights. No one has returned my emails or phone calls. After moving out of Sonterra Heights in August 2022, I still have yet to receive my deposit back. I have documentation of all unresolved work orders, as well as the ***** infestation in building 4 which caused me to move out. This infestation was never addressed by the leasing office nor *******************. I emailed the leasing office on March 19, 2023, to inquire about the return of my deposit. I received a final statement from a no-reply email on March 20, 2023. This statement shows a balance due from a move out cleaning. This charge is erroneous because I had the apartment professionally cleaned prior to my moving out. Sonterra Heights has not replied to my emails nor phone calls where I'm asking for proof of what cleaning was done for the apartment on their end. I am needing my deposit back because the apartment was left in better condition then when I first rented it. The lack of communication from both the leasing office staff and the management company is very odd, but when considering the erroneous cleaning charge it doesn't surprise me.

      I have lived at SONTERRA HEIGHTS APARTMENTS for over 3 years. I have never have had a problem until the community has been taken over by the supervision of *******************. Unfortunately, my apartment had a flood in the bathroom when I was away working. I was never notified of the situation and when I spoke to the manager JERANN **** asking for compensation for the inconvenience, she immediately turned me down. I questioned why were they being partial and have granted my downstairs neighbor a hotel stay, professionally clean his apartment and replace the carpet?.. I was told that I'm moving out and that they will not replace the carpet. I proceeded to feel sad and frustrated knowing that I have been treated like a 3rd class citizen at the place i call home. I have called the office several times and have yet to get a response to my request?I am disgusted to walk in my place...as this was toilet water and they refuse to accommodate me and have chosen to ignore me.
