I brought my puppy in for an emergency exam in December. They said that he was fine and I paid over $300 for his exam. He passed away overnight. I was so distraught, that I returned back to the location. They gave me options to have him cremated, but took no accountability for his death, nor acknowledged that he probably should not have been released to me. I didnt think anything of it and paid for the cremation. Afterwards, i could not bring myself to pick up his ashes for some time. It was actively something I had been dreading and then I was in and out of town for three months trying to resolve some family concerns. I received a final notice for his ashes to be returned 7/31/23 and to arrive then. I sent a text message explaining that I was out of town, but I would be able to arrive same day. I did not get a communication back, and decided to try to show up as early as possible once I got back into town which happened to be around 11:30 PM 7/30/23. I went in to pick up his remains and then was told that they had sent them back because I had not communicated with them by a heavy-set woman with short red hair and glasses. After I hold her about the final notice I had received, she changed her story and blamed it on my lack of communication. When I told her I sent a text, she acknowledged that they received ir, and then changed her story again and blamed it on the third party company. She said that they just randomly picked up a bunch of ashes and didnt pay any attention to anything. This is extremely upsetting and aggravating for this level of unprofessional behavior regarding a very sensitive subject.
