My wife's car was dropped off at uftring on 4/5/2023 by tow truck. Upon dropping It off, Tim the manager at uftring washington body shop was informed it had no brakes and that caused the accident. He called me a day later after dealing with ***** they weren't going to do the work because ***** was only willing to pay 60.00 per hour, *** said there contract with ***** **** doesn't allow them to go below 65.00 a hour, I said fine I'll pay the additional 5.00 per hour, He was told on 4/7/2023 to start ordering parts and get going. Which he did. About a week later he said the door is on national back order, I asked if we can find a used one. He said they are hard to find with the market being how it is, I said keep your eye out and if he found one I wanted ordered, he said which ever gets here first is what will do then. I said great, fast forward a week later he found one, but he said the new door and used door would be the same pretty much and any refund would be sent to *****, I said that's not how it works, he told me call *****. So I did, they said nope it's already been paid. It would go back to me and my wife. A couple days later we got called by service saying it's $670.00 to replace a caliper that was purchased on wrong. I said no way send it back to the body shop and tell them to finish it and I'll send it elsewhere. *** called me and said repairs haven't started because of the brakes that was on 4/27/2023, *** said they refused to start the work until they were fixed on May 4th, I went In on May 8th to fix the brakes myself out on the road. *** got the car back and said repairs can start now. All parts are ordered. NOT Friday 5/19/2023 ***** called and said we forgot to order a trim piece and a wiring harness for the door. They have had my vehicle since 4/5/23 and have been since 4/7/23 because the check wa sent to uftring of $3,053. 45 I will never use uftring again and I have done business there all.my life, especially since I grew up in town.
