TRAVELERS BEWARE This people are shady and have terrible service. I got a flat tire and they were the closest shop. The tire was clearly able to be plugged or patched but they refused, claiming there was sidewall damage but there was none. After telling us this Adam T******* proceeded to be very condescending and pushy in attempting to get us to buy two or four tires when we repeatedly said we were only interested in a single tire. They took an hour and a half to do the job despite having no line and several open bays. After finishing the job we got about a mile down the road and realized the tire was rubbing the sidewalks and making weird noises. Not only had they given us terrible service but the complete wrong tire size as well. This was not an easy mistake to make as the tire was clearly too big for the car and much larger than the other tires. Upon returning Adam T******* was dismissive and rude about the mistake, he then charged us the same price for the correct tire and provided no refunds or discounts for his mistake. We have a 6 hour drive to make and this mistake could’ve easily caused damage to our vehicle or safety, as well as the three hours lost on our trip due to his negligence. It seems as though this type of mistake was very common for them based on the little thought and care given. At the shop I work at this sort of mistake would have cost anyone involved their job. Overall horrible service and experience.Raffield Tire Masters Response

******, We obviously feel badly about misreading your tire size and installing the wrong size tire which cost you additional time lost on your trip. Our mistake was the reason we put you ahead of all our customers when you returned and put a better-quality tire on for you at no additional cost. The tire quality went from a 50,000-mile warranty tire to a 65,000-mile warranty tire which we sell for $30 more. As for your flat tire not being repairable, the sidewall was so damaged that a significant amount of loose rubber debris was inside the tire from being run flat. A tire that damaged can't be repaired. The issue of recommending four tires, or at least two on the same axle, is because your ****** is an all-wheel drive vehicle and ****** recommends keeping 4 tires on the car that are at a similar tread depth. Our desire is to give 5-star service.Review from Sulema V.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It's taken time to post this review because I attempted multiple avenues to resolve this issue with no remorse from the company at all. We went through RAC (rent a center) to purchase tires and they chose Raffield, to purchase from and have them install. They've been notified, they will no longer work with Raffield. We had tires installed the day we were leaving out of town for Thanksgiving. The day of it took all afternoon we were one of the last cars worked on before closing. My husband took the vehicle after a quick look and went to get gas before we hit the road. At that moment pumping gas he noticed that the rims had been damaged, did an overall look and all 4 wheels had the same exact damage as proof that the installation did the damage to the vehicle. We attempted to call that day but again it was end of business so no answer. We waited until we returned from the holiday trip in order to bring the vehicle back to the shop to show them the issue. The first day we notified Raffield we were told by Randy the manager to come by and he would look at it assuming it wasn't possible they could have done the damage. Once my husband arrived he immediately turned him away saying he could only speak to RAC because they paid for the tires and service. It was a week of back and forth calls between Raffield and RAC to determine who should answer to who only to determine it was between ourselves and Raffield regarding the service issue. Upon taking it back for a 2nd time to look at the damage, they DID NOT ask my husband to show them the damage or the issues they took the vehicle back and tried to cover their mistakes by causing more scrapes to be able to lie and say "this is curb check damage". I was furious and called my auto insurance agent who guided me to call the HR to request insurance who then was rude and denied my request. I have photos to prove the issues yet they still denied everything!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRaffield Tire Masters Response

damage was done by hitting a curb . customer came in weeks after tires was installed saying that we damaged the wheels at that time i walked her husband to the service bay where i showed him there was no way that a tire machine using plastic heads could do that type of damage to the customers wheels.Customer Response

We came to the shop the first day we spoke to Randy the following week (after holiday). That day we showed up & he turned us away because according to him the issue needed to be dealt with through RAC. After over a week back and forth between RAC and RTM we went back to RTM because according to RAC it was Raffield's responsibility to be accountable for the installation. This day our vehicle was taken back without us showing exactly what we were referring to was damaged. Wouldn't that be the obvious FIRST STEP to ASK what the issue/damage is not you taking my vehicle and telling me 'this damage is from hitting a curb' how would you know exactly what damage I'm referring to if I didn't show you? We told the manager as well as HR that we have photos to show this damage we are referring to was not there prior to the installation. Its pretty hard to say this is curb damage when it looks exactly the same on all 4 wheels. You can't hit each tire the same way on any curb common sense. This is the same run around we were given and shows the lack of care from this business instead of taking accountability.Customer Response

It is ridiculous that they claim the damage was from the curb. Logically how can all 4 tires have the same exact damage? How does someone hit a curb with all 4 rims getting damaged in the exact same way?
