      Worst realty ever..When i first moved there sockets was loose there was no refrigerator..put in a work order it was fixed a couple days later refrigerator started making loud noise lost food from it…I also started having rat problems I had to set up a ring camera just to show them it was multiple rats I put in a work order they just put foam in the holes..also another tenant told me that if my kids was to be bitten by a rat it wasn’t there responsibility ..couple days later rats came back I put in a another work order they came did the same thing ..nothing work just found a rat hole behind the stove ,under bathroom sink,upstairs hallway closet ,kid room closet,and where the water heater is and the A/C unit …Im tired of paying 850 for rent when they dont really help aleast put me in another unit until they fixed it …So as of 11/15/2023 evection was filed im not paying anymore money until they fix the problem

      We have responded to every maintenance request the tenant has submitted since moving in. The last maintenance request submitted was **** **, 2023. We normally start the eviction process on the 12th of the month if tenants have not paid rent by that date. On November 9th the the tenant came in our office and made a payment arrangement to pay her balance on the 13th. We agreed to postpone the eviction proceedings if she paid by then. She did not. We waited until the 16th to file them. She did not submit a maintenance request or discuss any pest control issues she may be having when she came in. If we are not told of maintenance issues, we do not know they exist. We will submit a work order for this and will send someone to look into it.

      ZERO stars!!

      The worst experience ever dealing with a rental/property management company.

      They are actually trying to charge me damages for something I didn't damage!!

      The ceiling caved in on us in our rental unit...& RACCOONS fell in! We actually had WILD ANIMALS in the apartment & it took a COUPLE DAYS for them to send someone!!

      Then, they left the hole open in the ceiling with the wild animals running free in the apartment for days! It took them over a week to close up the hole! And they never got rid of the raccoons! They are still living in the attic space!

      Now they're trying to make me pay for that damage that was caused by their negligence & wild animals!! They never even offered to assist with any property damage I had due to the cave in of the ceiling or their workers. The workers never brought their own tools so they used & damaged my chairs, table & other personal belongings without replacing or even offering to replace them!

      So while we were living there, we had fleas!!
      Why? We have no pets!

      Well, we had raccoons living in the attic space, & feral cats living in the basement. The basement doors on the backside of the buildings are kept wide open.

      Plus, the cockroach infestation there is TERRIBLE! The exterminator told me there was nothing he could do for my apartment alone because the building itself was infested.

      Then there's the mold, which ruined much of our clothes & furniture, not to mention the health issues we faced because of all of the wild animals, bugs, & mold.

      After speaking with other residents in the building, I found that they were all struggling with the cockroach infestation, the raccoons, feral cats, fleas & their complaints go unanswered regularly.

      I wish their remaining tenants luck in banning together against this terrible company! They are sure to win their lawsuit!! I will definitely serve as a witness when called upon. I've got plenty of pictures & unanswered correspondences to present!

      The incident regarding the racoons falling through the ceiling took place in mid August of 2021. It was reported to our office the next day and we immediately went to the apartment and cleaned up the sheetrock debris and placed traps in the attic. We placed plywood over the hole in the ceiling until we could catch the animals in the attic. We checked the traps daily and after 3 days we caught an opossum. We removed the animal and replaced the sheetrock and repainted the ceiling. We never heard any other complaints until the resident moved out the end of January. We did a move out inspection and noted that the resident had left sofas, chairs, tables, bed frames and other items in the house that had to be removed, had not re-cleaned the stove or refrigerator and had removed bedroom door lock. It was only after the resident received our move out summary noting her charges that she complained about all the other items.

      Heritage Property offered to return my full security, but only if I signed a release of future liability. I believe that is an admission of fault on their part. It's a shame that I will have to go to court to get my security deposit back.

      This realty company is awful, this house was built in 1950 poorly maintained by maintenance you can barely get them to come and fix anything, and when they do it's always done at a snail's pace. My mother recently passed due (August 22nd) to respiratory issues and kidney failure. My daughter has hay fever which is caused by exposure to dust and its makes perfect sense to me now. Something needs to be done
