Bought my husband a ****** ****. It never got leaves, for three months. I kept emailing them and sending them pictures. They kept saying just wait. Hold on will refund you a credit if it doesn’t bloom. Finally I sent them the final picture, they said they give me $109 back but it cost me $150 to get it Sent with the shipping and they refused to give me the shipping back as credit just to order another tree. Feeling like I have been scammed!!! I have been trying to get credit for my failed order for over 30 days. I get NO response from this company by email or voicemail!!! In March I ordered a *** *** *** for a $175. It came reasonably packaged and appeared to be dormant. I planted it with great care and watered it regularly for 60 days. It never showed any sign of life whatsoever and a scratch test revealed it was completely dead. I submitted the refund application and sent pictures of the tree and they approved a credit. However they said they would not process the credit until the 1st of June. Since the 1st of June I can get no reply whatsoever from this company. This is upsetting because I was hoping to have this tree established for next Spring. I have a mature ****** tree that needs this for cross polynation. This company dragging their feet not replacing my tree is gonna cost me an entire year (not cool TY TY!) FYI: In the past year I have planted 19 other trees in that same pasture from varying companies with 100% success. It's not me it's you, just saying...Review from Terry H

I ordered two trees online on the **** of May. They were shipped and arrived within about 5 days. Upon arrival, one was a bare stick 4 ft tall with no leaves. The other was about 7-8 ft tall with dying leaves. I planted them both and waited. Two weeks later, still with no signs of life, I called the company and was told to scrape a little of the bark off and see if the underlying color was green. If it was, it indicated life. I scraped and found green. It is now been 6 weeks since I planted the tree and there is still no evidence of life. The company will not respond to my texts or emails. Calling in on the phone results in being on hold endlessly. I have left negative reviews on ****** and ******** hoping to prompt a response and, again, have received no replies. Filing on their website asking for a refund did nothing: the form said someone would contact me within a few days...7 days later...nothing.Review from Brent B

Sending out plants in poor health or already dead. Attempts to file claim on their 1-year guarantee are met with silence. As a last resort I have had to file a chargeback dispute with my bank.Review from Robert R

I ordered 2 ******** **** trees last November, They appeared dead buy the instructions said they may be dormant to plant them and wait to the spring. Spring came and they were definetely dead. I asked for a refund but they were only willing to give a credit. I ordered two new **** trees and planted them. They also died. I have many plants and trees growing nicely. I believe the way they ship them does not leave the roots wet enough so they die. I requested a second refund and they told me quote (You purchased this order with a gift card from a previous warranty claim. That means there isn't a warranty on this order. I ordered a ********** ***** tree in December of 2023. By June of 2024, the tree was still just a large stick, having never grown any leaves. I sent the required photos as requested, to provide evidence of the tree. I have not received a response from TyTy after several email attempts to request either a credit for the tree or a replacement. I am a Certified Master Gardener and have never dealt with such a disreputable company. I have ordered from many other orchard companies with success. That was not the case with this company. Don't every buy anything from this company. They are a total sham.Review from Jason A

I ordered bare root two cherry trees appropriate for my zone in Spring 2023 that died in the Summer. After several attempts, they honored the one year guarantee and I ordered two more in Spring 2024. One of those was dead on arrival and the other died within a month. Their packages for shipments are really impressive, but the roots were severely pruned back leaving only a stob. They have not responded to emails about issues with the latest order. During an exhaustive search of their website, I could not find any product with a review less than 4 stars. Do not trust a company that only publishes positive reviews on their website.Review from JAMES H

I have ordered 4 fruit trees in the last two years all of them died they refunded one.They have gave me the run around for over a year. all of the trees were in bad shape when they arrived two of them never grew. Avoid this company.Review from Tisha A

Don't waste your money ordering from this company! Several years ago I had ordered a few plants from them and they were alright, not the best but not the worst for quality. But since then from what I was told they changed ownership. I ordered from them again this year in April 2023 and the 3 bare root plants I received (one raspberry and 2 grapes) had very poor skimpy looking root systems. The plants were very weak specimens from the start, and they failed to thrive, barely sprouted a couple tiny leaves that never grew then died. In comparison, 2 weeks later after I planted the Ty Ty nursery grapevines that failed to thrive and died, I bought a cheap $7 grapevine from the local ******** store and it took off growing great and looks good! Ty Ty nursery will not give refunds either, but they do say that they'll give a one year guarantee on your plants and give you a store credit for the original plant cost only, no shipping money credit if they die. But be warned they make you send photos and even then they try and give you the run around by telling you just to wait longer. Heck, half the summer can be over and they'll still tell you to just give the plant a little time! So, they'll even try to put off giving you a store credit when the plants are obviously dead too.
I'm going to up my review from my previous one, since after discussing the problem with customer service my complaint was completely resolved. They shipped my choice of a different variety of plants than the ones I lost of equal value, and they included my original shipping costs in the replacement store credit, which was a nice surprise that I didn't expect. My new plants just arrived alive and look good, so I am very satisfied with the resolution they offered.
