B&E installed both of my HVAC units and I think several years ago this may have been a good company. My 5 ton downstairs unit went out in January while still under warranty. It was out for over a week with B&E making four different trips to repair it. 1st trip Mr. Morgensen pulled a small low voltage fuse out and left. Said he did not have the part with him. Second trip, Michael put the fuse back in and changed a relay (part under warranty) . Charged me $308 labor. Still didn't work. Third trip Michael swapped wires around on the thermostat and said the wire needed to be changed on the thermostat. Still didn't work. Fourth trip, two other men, likely trainees, came out and changed thermostat wire. They left saying they could not get it to work. B&E called me and said Michael and Mr. Morgensen would be out the following day to figure out the problem. I told them not to bother and I called another company. The other company came out and the two men found a bare wire shorting out on the compressor (blowing the low voltage fuse) and the new thermostat wire B&E put in was wired wrong. It took them just over two hours to make the repairs.

Yes this happened Mr.Branch has a right to his opinion but the I myself was there and found a blown fuse. I made the call even thou I shouldn't have been there. I was sick and said I didn't have the part and would be back the next day. Mr. Branch said ok but after I left he changed his mind and I had told him that I needed 1 more person so I could locate issue. The others that went out made a mistake this happens and I am truly sorry for this but Mr Branch should have received his refund of everything but the service call fee. No company is perfect and yes we try our best but mistakes happen. I am very sorry for this issue. Thank You Michael M********
