Air Current was hired to changed our our HVAC and duct work system. The HVAC portion was done at that time and due to hot temperatures they only do the duct work in the cooler months, so the ducts were done in January 2022. It was explained to me that since we went up on the tonnage of our unit, we also needed to go up in size of our duct work. I relied on the expertise of Curren G***** (owner) to inform me of what was involved in changing our ducts. Just as the other two companies did. Shortly after the ducts were done I notified the company that it seemed the ducts had issues due to things I was experiencing in my home. Finally, in June 2022 they sent their lead installer out. He walked around my house and blamed the issues on me, not once getting in my attic to take a look. In October 2022 I had two separate companies come assess my duct work. Upon entering my attic, both immediately said that my duct work was not the correct size for my unit. After inspecting the work, they noticed multiple leaks, old duct work still up there and deteriorating mixing boxes. Both companies informed me that a permit was not pulled as required by my city code enforcement. When I realized a permit was not done I texted Leslie to inquire why. The first reason she gave was that she was trying to save me money. During our texting, she did pull a permit in October 2022 with a time set for Air Current to come look at the job before calling for an inspection. It became clear that Leslie was very defensive and had no intention of doing the job as it should have been in January 2022. We now have to pay to have their work removed and redone properly.
