Received a flyer in the mail, that said we won $3000. The flyer said to go to the Bealls in *****, ** and look for the big tent. As soon as I pulled up I was harassed by one of their sales people who asked me to roll down my window before I even could get out of my car. I was then told I needed to give my information to them for tax purposes before they could tell us if we won anything. Then the $3,000 it showed was not correct, they had to match a small number on the top to their board. Which of course did not match. The whole thing was a scam to get people in to their sale. Had to ask who the company was because their was no signs telling who they were. Then the lady standing there who yold ne their name got extremely rude and loud with us because we said this was a scam. Especially after the people pulling up next to our car asked if we won and told them the truth. She then got belligerent and storming off since the two that pulled up next to us gave her their flyers and left. I would highly recommend anyone to avoid this company especially after reading the other complaints listed here and there shady practices.Review from Nancy M

The sales lady was fantastic in many ways, We went to Tyrone Plaza in St Pete for there promotion. She showed us a car that we liked. We have no car as outs was totaled in June. We are still waiting for a settlement from the other guys insurance. We are also on a fixed income on SS. We were told by the sales ladies manager that we would get first 3 months of payments waived and tax, tag and title they would pay. Payments of less than $600. We also were putting down $1500. We left thinking that was what we were getting to pick up grandkids and take to dance. We kept our word and came back. It was late when paperwork was ready and we were the last ones there as they were tearing everything down for the night. We are signing everything and i asked what happened to the 3 months waived? He said that was only by another lender. Our payments are over $600 and we paid for tax, tag and title! We were supposed to get $3000 off the price of the car, not sure if we got this or not. We may loose the car due to not getting the 3 months of no payments. Very frustrated Nancy ******Review from Michele S

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their sole purpose is to sale a car. Since my purchase I have had to buy brakes and rotors, air filter, cabin filter and hydraulic lifts for the trunk. It also needs and oil pan and gasket. The money they sent me to make up for the payment, since I told them what I could only afford has gone for repairs, According to Mitsubishi Motors the vehicle should not have been sold as is and I should file suit. Call and text the Manager and sales person with no response. People work hard for their money and all we ask in return is to treat us fairly.Review from Randy b

Total scam **. You are sent a promotional gimmick in the mail. After opening it, it says you won a prize. You call the phone number given and it's verified you are a winner. Go to their facility to claim the prize, and they try to sell you a car (and tell you you really didn't win anything)Review from Lucrecia L

We purchased a used 2020 Black Chevy Impala, WE were NOT told about the undercarriage issues with this car, during the discussions, we told them, we didnt want a large car payment, they played the "IF we could would you?" and IF we would, could you? GAME.... we were honest, about our jobs, our income, and about the cash that we had ON hand, well, they ran OUR credit, & we told them about the 2 trades we were using, WE had 2 trade in's to use for our down payment, THEN they started asking for cash money, THEY SURE got their money out of us. WE gave them $4000 cash for a 29,000 sticker price for the IMPALA that shouldve brought the balance to 25,000. and THE value for 2 trade ins. they gave us nothing. and THEY bait and switched us on the financing company, we had an existing account with capital one, and they came back with an account from SANTANDER, which we didn't even discuss, with a ridiculous interest rate and 9000 (exaggerated), but you get my point, it was like 72 months financing. THEY knew what they were doing, and screwed us royally, we were there for over 6 hours, we were hungry, thirsty, exhausted, and my husband kept saying, HE had to be at work at 5. HE called his boss and had to tell him he would be LATE> in the meantime; we were talked to, **'d endlessly, by the sales agent, a "sales" manager, the finance manager, someone's "wife"...spouse of the dealer, (I'm guessing), I HAVE learned my lesson!! NEVER trust these people.Gen X Motors Response

Hi Lucrecia we tried to reach out to you but the number we have for you is not working. Gen-x take every complaint very serious and would like to review your deal with you. You recieved a $5300 trade allowance for your 05 Accent with 165k miles and your 2012 VW with 126k miles that was not drivable. The price of the Chevy was 28,500 you had a pay off on the VW of $3970 that gets added back in to the loan. The bank we used was the best terms and interest rate for you based on your credit. Please reach out to me so we can review it together.Review from Gene M

I came into a tent sale just to check out a flyer I got in the mail. I was asked by salesman if I want to see what I can get out of my 2019 jeep wrangler. He wanted to know if this was the only car I had to drive and I said yes, He then showed me to some of the cars that were there. I figured if I sold my jeep that I would have to get another car. It was a hot day and he kept having me sit in this hot tent with no air moving.I was sweating really bad and had to go out to get some air. He kept running back in forth to his boss and seeing if they could make a deal. My jeep was worth $44,000 and he said they didn't think they could give me that much. So he went and ask his boss if they could give me $44,000 for it. After about 2 hours of dickering he said yes, they would give me what I wanted. He had me try out this 2020 Honda Fit. it was a nice car and good gas millage. So here I am in the hot sun waiting on them to make out the paper work and I was feeling bad and just wanted to get out of there. I didn't bring my glasses with me so I couldn't see what the figures they had put down on the papers. They solved the papers in front of me and said to sign here and sign here.Here. It wasn't until I got back home that I put my glasses on and seen what they did. They put $54,000 for the car that was only worth $19,000 and then financed $11,000 to a bank and they said they would write a check for $8500 and mail it to me. I got ripped off big time, and seeing a lawyer to see what I can do.
