    1/31/2024 I returned to pick up my vehicle which had been serviced and detailed by Jenkins Honda. When I dropped off my Honda, the service writer noted and credit card charges would be assessed a 3% surcharge and to avoid this I could use check or cash. When I returned to pick up car and write a check for the transaction, I was informed Jenkins did not accept any checks over $100 thus forcing me to use my card and be assessed the 3% fee. I could not see any obvious signage that a check limit was $100. My estimate was for $325.90 and my final charge was $383.13 INCLUDING THE SURCHARGE. The bottom of my receipt states the surcharge is not greater than Jenkins cost of acceptance. I seriously doubt that any *************** entity handling a significant amount of money pays 3% to process when those fees can be as low as 1.5% based on my limited research.

    I am 74 and my wife is 72. Senior citizens that need to be protected from unscrupulous car dealers like Jenkins. We negotiated the purchase of a Pilot Trail Sport with Brian J. Our trade value was agreed upon by the manager and Brian prepare the purchase agreement. Turns out the presentation of the trade value was totally misleading! Brian proposed that the agreed price was exactly what we wanted, but his price was less than the agreed price because he included the "sales tax savings" built into the proposed trade price. It was approximately $3,000 less trade value because that was the "sales tax savings". I caught the misleading pricing and Brian went to the manager to correct the problem. He returned with the correct trade price. Brian presented a special $2,800 maintenance, exterior and interior coatings plan which I declined. He went to his manager and received permission to reduce the price to $2,000 which I agreed to purchase. When we got home, my wife discovered that the Pilot did not have the features she wanted so I called Brian to see if we could bring the vehicle back? He had the manager talk to me who explained they could not accept the returned vehicle. However, the manager told me he would put our name on the incoming Pilot that did have those desired features. He also told me it was expected to arrive in about 3 weeks. Meanwhile, Brian told us he would offer an even exchange for the expected vehicle. I called Brian after 4 weeks and asked him about the expected vehicle. He called me back and informed me that it was sold to another customer. He prepared another sales agreement for "the next" expected Pilot and the price difference was an additional $12,000+ and not the even exchange he offered previously. When I asked him about that even exchange, he said that he was joking previously. The next problem was they never included the $2,000 package! Clearly, they sold it for more profit - never told me about the package. Seniors beware!

    I called Gabrial S***** Customer Relations Manager, at Jenkins Honda to discuss my complaint. Gabrial was a good listener and interested in knowing how she could correct the situation.? I told her we grossly overpaid for the vehicle and did not get the warranty package that was negotiated with our salesman. She is going to report this problem to the General Manager and I do not expect them to do anything about my concerns. This is the third time I have suffered from Jenkins deceptive sales tactics and I do not recommend dealing with any Jenkins dealership.
