AirFx is just looking for a quick sale! Inept service & customer support. CAUTION! AirFx recommended to relocate my recently installed 4 ton air handler from a ground floor closet to the attic. We paid over $4 thousand to move the air handler and replace part of the duct work. In doing so, they cracked the drain pan for the evaporative coil. The cracked pan allowed condensation water to flow into the safety collection pan under the air handler. The safety collection pan was installed not level, allowing collection water to overflow into the attic and soaked the bedroom and closet ceiling. Additionally, the overflow safety drain line was installed incorrect. I placed an emergency weekend call to AirFx. They vacuumed out the excess water from the pan and told me that all of the unit's insulation must be replaced due to water damage. When the service technician arrived the next day, the person told me that he did not know why he was sent out. The tech was apparently not briefed and instructed how to correct the problem. The tech eventually told me he did not find any problem with the installation. We started calling AirFx on Sept. 24th (Jessica), Sept. 27th (Jessica) and was told she would discuss with the owner and call me back. On Oct. 1st DeAnna promised to call me back on Oct. 6th. She said no appointment times could be scheduled. On Oct. 22nd I left a phone message for DeAnna to call me. On December 8th, The Company called me to ck if the problem had been fixed. I said no and she said she would immediately talk to the owner and call me back in one hour. To this date, no one from AirFx has called me. So far, I have been left with a molding water soaked bedroom and closet ceiling, faulty installation of the air handler, water soaked unit insulation and a non-functional condensation drip line to the outside.
