I offered their asking price cash out the door and they wouldn't take it because they force you to buy additional products to the tune of approximately $2000. The asking price was $14999 and after all their fees and additional unnecessary products the final selling price was $18000 not including tax. $18000 for a 10 year old car with a NADA ***** of $12000 ??.Review from Cameron R

READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING FROM GOLDEN AUTO GROUP.HERE IS HOW MY PURCHASE WENT.8/3 - I Purchased the Vehicle. ( which is a whole other rabbit whole of events)8/7 - Check engine light comes on, took vehicle back to the dealer.8/15 - dealer says car is ready for pick up. (It's not codes we're just cleared)8/18 - check engine light comes back on with even more codes 8/24 - Authorized Audi dealer diagnosis the vehicle needing $9,000 in ******************* repair.9/7 - Second in depth diagnosis vehicle needing $11,000 in engine repairs. Head Gasket shot and coolant leaking into the oil.The car is leaking coolant internally into the engine and mixing with the coolant. The car has been in the shop for diagnostics longer than it has been in my driveway. Now I have a car payment with a car I can't even drive. I understand that used vehicles will come with there issues but a hidden issue like this dealer should stand on fixing before selling to a client. The dealer says there is nothing they can do because I didn't purchase there two day warranty.Regardless of the technicalities imagine buying a car you are so excited about only to find out that the head gasket is shot and has internal damage that could only be discovered by diving it and removing the supercharger. In addition to this purchase they add a AMS Patrol Fee of $1499 AND ETCH fee of $1499 on top of what ever the listed price is. Which I would have been fine with if the vehicle operated correctly. How can an honest business sell this to a client?>>>>>> BUYERS BEWARE <<<<<<>>>>>> SHOP ELSEWHERE <<<<Review from Marco A

Purchased a 2011 Audi from these guys in September of 2021. They made the car look immaculate in the pictures, but when I went to go see the car in person I noticed the rock chips all over the hood, roof and trunk. I thought nothing of it as I assumed it was leftover polishing compound. We took the car for a test drive and as soon as I started the car the check engine light came on, and I started getting a bunch of warning lights. (Low Oil Level, Low Coolant Level, Low Tire Pressure) and then I went to put it in reverse and I have more lights come on (Rear left taillight out, License plate light out) the guy said he’d have the shop (which itself looked janky) fill the fluids and tires. I was cautious but super needy for a car. I ended up buying the car and it was financed at 16k which I later came to find out that the car was only worth 8k. I bought it with 111k miles and to this day it sits in my garage with 115k miles and leaks oil out of every seal in the engine. I went to Japan for 6 months and came back to find out that the brakes were paper thin, the engine had been tampered with and many of the bolts on the camshaft over were stripped out and oil was coming out of them, the fuel pump gasket was shot, and the tires were worn down to the wire on the inner wall and cracked on the treads. The engine has a major oil and coolant leak and can’t even hold oil long enough to drive it to a dealer to try and trade it off for something that actually works. To finish it off, Golden Auto does not inspect their vehicles before sale and their maintenance crew doesn’t do proper maintenance procedures. If they did, I wouldn’t be buying a car on paper thin brake pads and bald tires as well as an major Evap and oil leak. They obviously are selling cars against California SMOG laws and should be shut down and fined, and they should reimburse all customers who file complaints.Review from Anonymous S

Frank D***** first of all did not take me seriously when I wanted to purchase a vehicle off their lot keep in mind I came to this dealer because I had a large pre-approval amount. Second the car I financed was around 14k & this dealer added an additional 11k onto my finances amount & the worst part was I didn’t find out until my first bill came in the mail Worst customer service & even shadier dealer practices, I am now on the hook for over $25,000 for a 2012 Audi A6 with 100k + miles Absolutely insane!Review from Kimberly P.

Purchased a vehicle 3 months ago and still haven’t received the license plates. I’ve been having the run around from the dealership for the last three weeks and they keep playing games. Totally not worth the games and back and forth to the dealership shows how pathetic they really are. If I could go back I would definitely not waste my time with them and we were looking at purchasing another vehicle for our son but this business will never see another dollar from me. Should have read the reviews from other people before coming would have saved me a headache. I don’t really understand why play with people like that when we came to give your business money but karma will always win. I’ve reached out to the BBB and CA DMV about them as well since everything is such a joke to them I have time today. Also Chris the manager never returns a call and always seems to be busy.Customer Review Rating
